Well, one thing's for sure about this week's Dancing With the Stars Results: Kellie and Derek will NOT be going home. I could make a few other bold predictions, but I wouldn't want to show off my psychic skills.
I'd Dance With Him: Michael Buble performs "Come Dance With Me" off his recently released album. It's staged beautifully with the couples looking great in pretty blue dresses and crisp black tuxes. And...of course....you know...Buble is no slouch.
Encore of the Night: Remember how Mark was hurt and we weren't sure who Aly would be dancing with last night? Yeah, he's all better. And he's here to dance the judges' encore with Aly.
Results, Round 1: Zendaya and Val and Jacoby and Karina are the first couples to learn their fates. Like last night's dance off, Zendaya and Val are happier with the results - they are declared SAFE, while Jacoby and Karina are in jeopardy.
Results, Round 2: Ingo and Kym and Aly and Mark are up next. Aly and Mark are declared SAFE, but Ingo and Kym are in jeopardy....uh oh.
Spotlight: The AT&T Spotlight is on Tawanda Jones, who makes a difference in Camden, NJ, one of the toughest cities for kids to grow up in. Tawanda works with young girls on a drill team called the Camden Sophisticated Sisters that gives them a safe place to be and someone to look up to. The girls are talented and look like they're having the time of their lives. The most touching moment? Dancing With the Stars announces they'll be donating mirrors to the studio.
I'm Still Laughing: There aren't a lot of things funnier than someone getting hit in the head with a ball. You know what DOES make it funnier though? A PRO FOOTBALL PLAYER (Jacoby) hitting a PRO DANCER (Kym) in the head with a ball. Note: It wasn't even HIS partner!
Profile of Courage: Adrienne Haslet was enjoying the Boston Marathon just two weeks ago when the bomb went off, taking her foot and compromising her career as a dancer. She has vowed to dance again, and Dancing With the Stars will be following her recovery.
Macy's Stars of Dance: Twitch and Allison Holker of So You Think You Can Dance performed tonight with the musical accompaniment of violinist Lindsey Stirling. It's an interesting performance, particularly in the way Lindsey becomes part of the routine.
Results, Round 3: Sean and Peta and Andy and Sharna are the final couples to receive the first round of results. For a minute, I thought Andy and Sharna might escape for one more week, but Sean and Peta are declared SAFE before Andy and Sharna is announced to be in jeopardy.
Final Results: With Jacoby and Karina and Ingo and Kym, Andy and Sharna make up the last of the couples in jeopardy. Jacoby and Karina are declared SAFE. The Bottom Two for this week are Ingo and Kym and Andy and Sharna, which isn't too much of a surprise. Can Andy survive Latin Week?
Nope.
Andy and Sharna have the lowest votes and are ELIMINATED.
Final Thoughts: I'll miss Andy, but I know it was time for him to go. He's going out on a high note, and he seems genuine as he says his goodbyes. Now we're down to business, guys - there are a lot of strong dancers left in the competition!
