In Berlin, teams begin the tenth leg of The Amazing Race, with Max and Katie leading the charge. Everyone heads to Edinburgh, Scotland with their first destination being Gosford House but the impending U-Turn is at the forefront of their minds. At the airport, the YouTubers and the roller derby moms celebrate, thinking they'll be the first ones to Scotland, until the other three teams find an earlier flight.

 

Max and Katie arrive at Gosford House (which looks more like a castle) first and face a Road Block. One team member has to learn to play the bagpipes while marching around the house. Max blows though the task quickly, no pun intended, with Bates not far behind. Next up is a Detour with the choices being Tasty Puddin' and Whisky Rollin'. In Tasty Puddin', teams have to use an ox's intestines and fill it with meat and rice and in Whisky Rollin', teams deliver eight barrels of the alcohol to a local fair. The barrels require straight up braun so it's no surprise Bates and Anthony take on the task and finish first.

 

Next up is a drive to Duddingston Kirk for the U-Turn. Bates and Anthony choose to send Joey and Meghan back, then move on to Niddry Street South to check in at the pit stop. Max and Katie stay true to their alliance, and U-Turn Mona and Beth. Considering they still have Speed Bump to do before even reaching the first side of the Detour, it's not looking good for the moms to stay in the race.

 

Teams finish in the following order:

 

1. Max and Katie (win $10,000 each)

2. Bates and Anthony

3. Caroline and Jen

4. Mona and Beth

5. Joey and Meghan

 

After narrowly escaping elimination last week, Mona and Beth plowed through ever challenge in the tenth leg, narrowly beating Joey and Meghan to stay in the race.  Who do you want to see cross the finish line first on next week's finale?  Let us know in the comments below!
