The pressure is on for the final five of The Biggest Loser as it's the last week on the ranch. Ahead of them at the weigh-in will be a yellow line, as well as a red line. Falling below the red line means you're automatically out, while falling below the yellow line means America will decide which of the two contestants makes the finale.
Before we get to the adults, we take a look back at the journey of the kids this season. Sunny, Biingo, and Lindsay watch videos of themselves and really realize just how much they've changed over the last few months. They've been so inspirational to adults and kids alike - and much braver than I was when I was their age!
Just like the kids watched their journey with their trainers, the adults do the same. It really amazing to see how much happier they are, their ability to handle their workouts and their emotions, and the moments that have defined them this season. From Jackson overcoming tough workouts to Gina embracing the process to Jeff letting down his guard to Joe becoming an athlete again to Danni finding her inner fire, the videos show that each one truly deserves to be at that final weigh-in.
The contestants don snow gear and meet Alison at the base of a mountain for their last challenge. They'll have to climb it and reach the finish line first in order to win but to make matters more difficult, they'll have to drag their weight on a sled to the top. The winner will get a 1 pound advantage which is nice and all... but where's the car?! Joe crosses the finish line first, followed by Danni, Jackson, Jeff, and Gina. Crossing that finish lines isn't about winning a prize but about overcoming everything that got them to The Biggest Loser in the first place.
After the kids say their final goodbyes, and the contestants do their last chance workout, it's time to see what the scale has to say. Here's how the numbers fell.
Joe: -5 + 1 lb advantage (2.46%)
Jackson: -5 (2.13%)
Gina: -2 (1.23%)
Jeff: -11 (3.99%)
Danni: -11 (6.32%)
While some struggled to pull big numbers, it wasn't an issue for Jeff or Danni, who secured their spots in the finale. Gina is eliminated, while Joe and Jackson will have to wait to see what America decides. We'll find out who is named The Biggest Loser on next week's live finale. Who are you pulling for?
The Biggest Loser airs Mondays at 8/7c on NBC.
