Dancing with The Stars All Stars

The Presidential Debate is cramping everyone's style tonight, as Dancing with the Stars All Stars and other shows have to cut it down to just one hour tonight to make for the candidates having their final debate before the election. So, we get half the dances tonight and the other half tomorrow night and no elimination this week!

Team: Kelly and Val
Dance: Samba
Kelly is overwhelmed with two dances this week and she had to work on General Hospital as well, so they were doing late nights and Kelly was lacking confidence. She does good, but is stiff in parts. She is an actress, so can she put a smile on that face sometimes? She seems a little too serious at times.
8.0 - Len said it was a little long to get it started and too much gyrating for him.
8.5 - Bruno said she is a titillating, tasty, tease and he likes that part a lot and an overall good routine.
8.0 - Carrie Ann said she felt uncertain this week and her upper body felt tense and the runs weren't in sync.
TOTAL: 24.5

Team: Gilles and Peta
Dance: Ramba
They have a good dynamic between them and Gilles is sexy and cute. He chooses a Whitney Houston song because that is when he started to get more confident with the ladies when he listened to her music. This was a very sexual and intense performance, but isn't it easier for a guy on this show? He just whips his partner around on the dance floor and Peta does all the moves.
9.5 - Len said it should be Oscar-nominated it was that good.
10.0 - Bruno said that was not a dance, but a master class theater. It was gripping and thrilling and one of the best performances he has seen.
10.0 - Carrie Ann decided to steal one from Melissa Rycroft and as she is giving her critique she slips and falls off the judges' area. She said it was the perfect balance between elegance and romance and sensuality.
TOTAL: 29.5

Team: Kirstie and Maks
Dance: Quickstep
They are dancing to "Mrs. Robinson" and Maks is going to be her boy toy. She is doing this for all the women that want Maks! She has a little breakdown at camera blocking, as she is not getting the dances as soon as she should and she wants to do better. Kirstie can put on a show and that is what I love about her. It was entertaining. Was she quick on all the moves, no, but I like watching them dance.
8.5 - Len said it was her best dance and she was dancing to the maximum.
8.5 - Bruno said she had her toy boy where she wanted it and she delivered and her posture was better.
8.5 - Carrie Ann said that was her best dance by miles and her carriage was lifted.
TOTAL: 25.5 (their highest score of the season)

Team: Emmitt and Cheryl
Dance: Samba
Emmitt said last week that he would be dancing to "Copacabana" by Barry Manilow. That shocked many, but it is a song everyone loves. During practice, they tried to have more fun and laugh when things got too serious. This was a fun dance and Emmitt was working those hips with his partner. I enjoyed it and thought they looked good together.
9.5 - Len said it was an unstoppable performance.
10.0 - Bruno said they deliver maximum pleasure and they make it looks easy.
9.5 - Carrie Ann said no one does Samba like him.

TOTAL: 29.0 (their highest score of the competition)

Team: Team "Call Me Maybe"
Dance: Freestyle
This is the first freestyle team dance ever on Dancing with the Stars and this is the routine that hurt Melissa Rycroft in camera blocking yesterday. She was diagnosed with a herniated disc in her neck and is on lots of medication, but she is cleared to dance with the other three couples. The team consists of Shawn and Derek, Melissa and Tony, Apollo and Karina and Sabrina and Louis. They are dancing to "Call Me Maybe" and are going with a high school football/cheerleader theme. They are going with the more technical dance thinking the other group will go more comedy. This was a super fun routine and they all did so good. It was very funny to see the guys in football pants!
10.0 - Len said this is a touchdown and the individual routines were great and the group work was tight.
10.0 - Bruno said it was almost impossible to distinguish the celebrities from the professional dancers.
9.5 - Carrie Ann said it was great and everything else they both said.
TOTAL: 29.5

The team score will be added into each individual score from tomorrow night for their total for the week. The celebrities dancing individual performances tonight will get their score added to their team dance tomorrow night.

Dancing with the Stars All Stars airs Mondays at 8/7c and Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC.
