Top Model: College Edition said goodbye (for now anyway) to Yvonne Powless in the most recent elimination. Reality Wanted talked to the model about her "curvy" assets, the truth behind her frustrations, and which of the judges gave her the best advice.

Q. Kylene, Reality Wanted: So you've talked about your background in both dance and pageants - how did you end up on Top Model?
A. Yvonne: I ended up on Top Model because I saw Tyra Banks tweet - someone retweeted that it was the last day to send in a picture, and then the next they called me to come in to a closed audition in Austin, which is where I go to school. So I went to that, and then got called to go to LA.

Q. Kylene, Reality Wanted:
Were you interested in modeling as a branch out from your other experience or was this on a whim?
A. Yvonne: It was kind of on a whim - you know, I had never really tried it before, so I thought it would be fun to try out and just see what it was like.

Q. Kylene, Reality Wanted: The judges really pressured you to make your curves your "signature" but at one point, you told them you were trying to take the focus OFF what they thought was that "signature" asset. How did their comments affect your approach to modeling in the shoots?
A. Yvonne: I just think that the modeling world has this whole stigma about being not a size 0 and I just think I was trying to not label myself as THE plus sized girl. I don't mind being plus sized or having my curves be my signature, but I didn't want it to be like the only thing that you think of when you think of Yvonne. Like the fact that I don't wear a size 0 to 4, I didn't want that to be the only thing that was remembered about me, that was not what my goal was in getting on the show.

Q. Kylene, Reality Wanted: As surprising as Leila's elimination was, Bryanboy's reaction was noticed and bothered at least you and Brittany. Did any of the other models have any response to the situation or was it generally ignored?
A. Yvonne: I think they all just kind of ignored it. Brittany talked to me about it just because we were friends, but I think, I don't know, a lot of the girls tried to not comment negatively about any of them for fear of...I don't know what. But I know it bothered Brittany to talk to me about it, and I saw him doing it and it felt kind of weird.

Q. Kylene, Reality Wanted: You were clearly frustrated in the most recent episode, though that frustration wasn't really featured until the week you were eliminated when it seemed like you kind of reached a breaking point. Do you think that was a fair portrayal of your attitude in the competition, or was it a more gradual build up than the viewers saw?
A. Yvonne: I think they took my frustration with the show and put it into what was happening, you know, live which was totally different. As far as the shoot and everything you have to do, all of that was amazing and really really fun and exciting, but during the production and the way that the show handled all of us was what I didn't like about being on the show. So I think they took my irritation with them and put it as, maybe, being irritated with being a model, which was not the case at all. And that kind of just completely made me look like I was annoyed with being on the show and I hated what we were doing and was so stressed when really I was eating for free, getting my hair and make up done, getting my picture taken, so it wasn't like...I wasn't really stressed out by that.

Q. Kylene, Reality Wanted: What has been the best experience that you have taken from Top Model?
A. Yvonne: I think my best experience was all of the shoots, that was really good experience as far as doing photo shoots. And then I got to talk to Kelly after I got eliminated, which I really cherish, I guess, because someone like her telling me she thinks I have a star quality about myself, that I should move to LA, and that I should pursue anything that I want to pursue. So I'm planning on going to school, but I only have one year left, so I just want to finish and get it over with so I can have my degrees and then move to LA when I graduate. So I guess that experience, the photo shoots and what me and Kelly talked about.

Q. Kylene, Reality Wanted: What's next for you - how does modeling fit into your plans for the future?
A. Yvonne: After the show ends, I'll work on modeling from Texas because I'm here for a year. But then once I get to LA, hopefully both, acting and modeling.
