Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Tell us how got involved with ON THE LOT? Did you apply online or attend a casting call event?
A. I heard about it from a few sources, my brother, friends, and the film school I attended (Champ University Film School).
Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) What originally got you into film making?

A. I played with action figures as a kid. My parent got one of the old videos cameras you plug into a VCR so I started to film the action figures. I started to learn how to cut films, make short clips, and then I started messing around with stop motion.Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) What is the biggest challenge about taking part in "On The Lot"?
A. I think it's weird since we are all "behind the camera" people and now we are in front of the camera. It was hard at first, but over time, you forget about the cameras. It was kind of funny since some of the camera crew told us they usually film people who want to be on TV.

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Can you talk about what this opportunity means to you?
A. Oh gosh, dreams come true. I have been looking for a way to get noticed and get into the industry. This helps a great deal. I had always wanted to be in the film industry but afraid of failure.

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Name a film you saw that made you say: "That's what I want to do with my life".
A. The "Back To The Future" trilogy. I really liked the second one.
Mark(RealityWanted.com) I hope they bring that back, I loved all three.
David. I do as well, but I don't want it to be a failure.

Q. What's it like to be on stage and in front of people like Garry Marshall and Cary Fisher?
A. That's very valuable and I enjoy their feedback and opinions. At the same time, I like to recognize that film is very subjective. I am just as interested in the voting public's option but the judge's information is very valuable.

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Is there anything else you would like to tell fans of the show and aspiring film makers?
A. For aspiring filmmakers, you should apply for "On The Lot" season 2. It is fascinating to talk to other contestants. As film makers, it's odd since we watch the crew and as film makers, we are just as interested in what the film crew is doing and how they are doing it. I am sure people on Survivor or American Idol don't watch and analyze the film crew like we do here on "On The Lot". I would also want to thank Chapman University. I think film school is really, really good for the experience. Some people here went to film school and some did not. I think it's a great experience and Chapman has great equipment, professors, and knowledge.
