Things continue this week in the Big Brother house at the Head of Household competition. As the players swing round and round a giant planet, and get struck by a meteor in the process, it doesn't take long before Joe and Jenn are out of the competition. Surprise, surprise. Dan falls next, screaming "I'm sorry Chelsea!" (to his wife) as he hits the mat, and Danielle is out fairly soon after. That leaves Shane and Ian to battle it out and they ask for some time alone to work out a deal. Ian agrees not to nominate or backdoor Shane or Danielle... as if he was going to anyway... and Shane drops.
When Danielle finds out that Shane made a deal to keep her safe, and then Jenn reveals that he called his "girlfriend" a few days prior, she is over the moon. But hold up a second. The two haven't kissed since Danielle won HOH weeks ago. This doesn't seem like a relationship. Danielle tells the camera that she's going to need some more kisses if she's his girlfriend. You're not.
Amazingly, and I mean AMAZINGLY, Dan is able to get the Quack Pack back intact. Forget that he pulled one of the (most awesome and) evil plans to save himself in Big Brother history and, by doing so, blindsided and backdoored a trusted member of the alliance. Dan can literally talk his way out of anything.
Ian gets the opportunity to open Pandora's Box so, of course, he does. This kid is getting the best Big Brother experience a fan could ask for. He got to play with returning favorites, he helped orchestrate the downfall of one of the best players ever, he ate lots of slop, was blindsided by arguably the greatest move in Big Brother history, won HOH twice, and now gets to open Pandora's Box. In the room sits a Christmas tree and all the presents are for him. Meanwhile, apparently, Big Brother thought we wanted to see more of Jessie (BB10 and BB11) so Jessie Claus showed up, gave healthy food to the houseguests, and took all their junk food. Not cool.
When it was time for nominations, Ian decided it was in his best interest to nominate Frank and Jenn. Besides the fact that they were responsible for Britney going home, it will probably take more than one shot to get Frank out of the game and he can't compete next week.
Find out who wins the Power of Veto on Big Brother, Wednesday at 8/7c on CBS.
