Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Jason, congratulations on making it this far!
A. Jason Epperson: Thank man, I appreciate it.

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Tell us how you got involved with ON THE LOT? Had you applied online or did you attend any sort of casting call event?
A. Jason Epperson: My mother in law found something online and mentioned it to me. At first, I noticed they were looking for short films and I have done more music videos as opposed to short films. I really just took a chance and threw in one of my videos to see what would happen; a month later I got a phone call and here I am!

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) How is it making films in this environment?
A. Jason Epperson: This week we are getting into work mode and the pressure is turning up. I am really excited to get it going. We have all been ready to jump in and show what we can do out here.

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Can you talk about what this opportunity means to you?
A. Jason Epperson: Man, there are no words to describe it. For many of us it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. I think God has blessed me and put this opportunity in front of me to challenge me. I am very excited.

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) What's it like to be away from home and family?
A. Jason Epperson: It's really tough for me. I am happy my wife can fly out each week, but I only see family for about 10 15 minutes. For me it has been the toughest things being out here and trying not to let missing your family bring you down.

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) What did you think of Carrie Fisher's reaction to your "Getta Rhoom" short?

A. Jason Epperson: It seems the audience had a much different reaction. Ill tell ya at the time it really sucked to hear what judges had to say. I would never make a film to try and offend people or a group of people. I showed the film to hundreds of people prior and no one ever gave me the reaction and feedback that I received by from the judges. If I had any idea that would happen, I would have changed it. I was floored, shocked, and hurt when I heard the reaction from the judges I was worried all week. I think the fans understood what I meant with "Getta Rhoom". Many of the cast and crew working with "On The Lot" are now running around saying "Getta Rhoom".

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) What got you into film making?
A. Jason Epperson: My story is strange. When I was a kid my dad bought a video camera . No one besides me would really use it. At age 10 I would film myself playing basketball or golf and pretend I was in the Masters. In college I studied Broadcast since our school did not have a film major. I learned a lot about filming, editing, and most of the camera fundamentals. Later I took out a loan to purchase my own equipment to start my own business. I am addicted to this stuff!

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Is there anything else you would like to tell fans of the show and other aspiring film makers?
A. Jason Epperson: I would tell anyone to go grab your camera and start shooting. You will make a lot of crappy stuff, but keep filming. It will take a while to perfect your craft, if you were to view my first two to three years of film, it wasn't very good.. I have always been a competitor. You must love what you do. One last thing, for tonight, it is one of best films I even done, its 180 degrees different from "Getta Rhoom", it's a sci fi drama thing.
