NBC's new one-hour special "Science of Love: A Modern Dating Experiment" will attempt to answer the question: When it comes to finding true love, can scientific methods be applied or does it come down to simple physical instinct and chemistry? Mark Consuelos ("All My Children") hosts the special airing Monday, June 25 (10-11 p.m. ET), which will use scientists and relationship experts to determine the perfect match for one single guy.

After completing intensive scientific personality tests, professional football player Adam Johnson gets to choose one lucky lady out of 50 who have compatible profiles. Through physical attributes, video packages and personal questioning, Adam will

whittle down the 50 to one lucky lady who is his personal preference for a date. Then, a second woman the perfect "scientific" match will be chosen. Adam will go on dates with both women, ultimately deciding if "science" or "instinct" made the better match."Science of Love" is produced by 3 Ball Productions. JD Roth ("The Biggest Loser," "Beauty and the Geek") and Jennifer O'Connell.
