I would love to say "Poor Tarzan", given that he's the only male left on Survivor: One World. However, he's not a threat and the girls are ready to start taking each other out so he can probably coast by, at least through this episode. Alicia lives in a fantasy world where she thinks she's the most powerful player in the game. Clearly, she's oblivious to Kim's presence in this game.
Tree mail arrives with a special package from Sprint, containing video messages of loved ones on the island. The tears are already flowing before they come face to face at the challenge. When they do finally get to embrace, the emotions reach new heights. I was holding it in until Tarzan's wife came running out. Were you as weirded out as I was by Kat's relationship and interactions with her cousin?
For the reward challenge, players and their loved ones have to make their way through obstacle course tethered to a tangled rope. Initially, I thought Sabrina and her brother would dominate the challenge but they quickly fell out of it. Kat and her cousin end up winning and she chooses Kim and Alicia to come along - WHAT? After last week? I'll go on record and say that was a huge mistake.
At the reward, Kim, Alicia, and Kat seal the deal to be the final three. Maybe I was naïve for thinking Kim would keep Chelsea with her to the end. Of course, the Bitter Bettys back at camp talk getting rid of Kat but when Chelsea runs that plan over to Kim, she dictates that it'll be Sabrina who goes next. Again, how does Alicia think she's the most powerful player in the game?
In order to be safe from tribal this week, players must stand on a platform in the ocean and lean over the water, holding on to a handle behind them. After a little over ten minutes, Sabrina is the first one out. Tarzan goes soon after, followed by Alicia, Chelsea, and Christina. It all comes down to Kat and Kim, who hang there for over an hour. Kat basically begs Kim to drop but it's her who falls in the water. Kim wins yet again - is she on ANYONE'S radar yet?
Kat doesn't take her loss very well and thinks the plan is still on to blindside Sabrina. However, Alicia has her own plan to get rid of Kat. That final three is crumbling as we speak. I thought the unpredictability of the votes would be the thing I most looked forward to at tribal but that's before I saw Troyzan's Hammer Pants. Kat takes a pretty big hit at tribal, with the women saying she uses her age and calls herself naive to get herself out of trouble. Her last words before the votes are that if a blindside happens, it'll be funny and exciting. Strange, it didn't seem that funny to her when her torch was snuffed tonight.
