"Temple of Doom: Peru"

Pre-Incan Ruins - Andes Mountains/Chavin, Peru

Human sacrifices? A magical stone that serves as a portal for the living and the dead?  Ahhh, so nice to have GHI back in the thick of things.  The Pre-Incan Ruins are exactly that, formations of rubble destroyed by father time, and being held together only by chance at this point.  The area is being excavated and the current workers are constantly reporting white ghosts roaming the area around the ruins.  The Lanzon is a tall stone statue with ancient carvings that the locals believe represented their god and has magical powers.  Only the high priests were allowed in the building, called the Gallery, which holds the Lanzon. This would be the first investigative team allowed to investigate the Gallery and the Lanzon stone itself.  Listen, before we all had iPhones, the Lanzon was badass I'm sure.

Team leaders, Barry FitzGerald and Kris Williams, immediately started their investigation in the Gallery of the Lanzon. They verified there was no electrical charge or currents coming from the Lanzon stone.  There were none.  After Kris pretty much called out the Incas for making up the legend of the Lanzon, their Geo-monitor set at the base of the stone suddenly started to go off loudly, beeping at a rampant pace.  A moan then came from the distance.  When Barry checked for an electrical charge again, he did get a strong reading.  Somehow the stone was becoming charged with energy.  Their audio recorders also caught a very strange sound coming from the stone, almost like that of a heartbeat.

Susan Slaughter, Joe Chin, Scott Tepperman investigated the claim of a white shadow figure that has been reported in the area where a graveyard sits, conveniently right next to an area where people had built houses....or huts.  The huts are now empty because Bank of America had foreclosed on them long ago...accidentally of course.  Scott and Susan both believed they saw a white shadow figure prance around them before disappearing.  Kris and Barry would later head to this same area and, although Kris initially believed she saw some shadowy movement, no additional paranormal activities occurred.  Joe and Scott headed to the Gallery to investigate the Lanzon.  Joe thought he heard some footsteps and Scott heard a moan, just as Barry and Kris did.  They were getting some activity on their K2 meters so something was in the Gallery with them.

The team believed there was some paranormal activity surrounding the stone and the area around the stone.  How much can be contributed to the human sacrifices done in the vicinity is anybody's guess.

Plaza De Acho - Lima, Peru

The Plaze De Acho, or better known as the bull fighting ring, was built in 1766.  Shadow figures, a floating legless ghost, and strange sounds have turned this area into a paranormal hot spot.  Only one Matador, Juan Suarez, died while in the ring.  Some believe it is Juan Suarez who is now haunting the arena.

The team did experience footsteps in areas where no one was at and shadow figures out of the corner of their eyes.  Joe believed he saw a ghostly head poke around a corner and not long after that, reported that he felt a bit strange.  While Kris and Barry where in the bullfighting ring, they both believed that they heard the sounds of hooves...this is something that the arena workers have mentioned.  What they were able to find out is that a train that passes by in the distance can make a similar noise and play tricks on the ears of those there late at night, scaring themselves naturally.

Kris and Berry explained to the property manager that, although there may be some paranormal activity occurring in the bull fighting arena, the workers and guests were safe.
