Tonight on Survivor: South Pacific, Savaii was reeling from the blindside that sent Ozzy over the edge, while Upolu battled to remain together after some Survivors started to cast doubt within the tribe.
We join Savaii after Tribal Council, where Ozzy is clearly pissed because 1) someone got together a group to vote Elyse out and 2) two people voted for Dawn, clearly chicken out of siding with anyone. According Ozzy, he's a free agent, and he's playing the game as an individual. Pretty bold statement to be making while you're still on a tribe, buddy.
Back on Upolu, mini-Hantz begins to sniff around for the Idol, and finds one of the hidden clues, showing it to Coach (who, by the way, already has the Idol). Coach gets amused watching Brandon search for the mini talisman, but he also gets a little freaked out, because he sees a lot of his uncle in his nephew.
On Redemption Island, Elyse and Christine square off in a battle of shuffleboard. Each woman has four disks on the board, and the first person to knock off all four of their opponent's discs stays alive. Elyse falls behind very quickly, but soon enough it's tied up, with each one having one puck left on the board. Christine seals the deal with a final toss, sending Elyse on her merry way.
Rick and Sophie return to Upolu, offended at how "negative" Christine was to them during the challenge (i.e. flipping them the bird). Do they really expect anything different? It doesn't seem like they really talked that much to her, and they voted her out--I'd be pissed, too. Meanwhile, Coach is massaging Edna's loyalty, because it's clear he wants someone completely on his side, and she can be that someone.
Missing his certain someone, Ozzy starts to backpedal on Savaii, saying that what he said was a mistake, that he regrets it, blah, blah, blah. Bottom line is that Ozzy knows he can contribute to the tribe, win them immunity challenges and catch them fish, so that's enough of a selling point to keep him around for at least a little longer.
The immunity challenge is basically putting together a wheelbarrow that's a puzzle, then using it to transport coconuts to the end of a maze. Once there, another portion of the trip will disassemble the wheelbarrow so they can use the pieces to make a slingshot to fire said coconuts at six targets. First tribe to knock down the targets would win immunity.
Upolu takes a giant lead thanks to Cochran's inability to push anything, but Mikayla's one-handed slingshot moves leave the door wide open for Savaii. Coach tries to encourage Mikayla to let him and Albert do it, but she won't have it. Instead, Savaii catches up and wins immunity.
Back at Upolu's camp, it quickly becomes the Edna vs. Mikayla debate. Edna is part of "the six," but she's not going to help them win immunity, something Upolu will need with an impending merge. However, Mikayla is stronger, yet not as part of the group. Decisions, decisions.
Well, Brandon makes it clear that he doesn't like these decisions, because he believes in sticking to his word and regaining the family name, so he goes on this whole rampage (in front of the whole tribe, mind you) about how everyone is disloyal, telling lies, etc. It all comes down to Rick, the silent cowboy.
At Tribal Council, Brandon cries (again), and Mikayla and Coach get into it. It's clear lines have been drawn, but there's no indication of who's going to win out. In the end, a 4-3 vote snuffs Mikayla's torch and sends her to Redemption Island.
