Dancing With the Stars Season 13: Week 4 Results Recap

Last night on Dancing With the Stars, it was another shocking elimination. Several appearances by Cher in the audience carried over to tonight, when Chaz and Lacey were safe from elimination yet again. Instead, it was three-time leaderboard leader Chynna Phillips and Tony Dovolani who Paso Doble'd off the show.

Raphael Saadiq kicked off the show with his own version of "Soul Man," in line with the show's "movie scores" theme this week. Full disclosure here, I had to do some heavy Googling for these movies and/or songs because I was born at the very, very end of the '80s, so as my mom told me, the full appreciation was lost on me.

Now what would Dancing With the Stars be without former contestants coming back? And now that they have a much bigger ballroom, they can bring back more contestants. Well, this week it was Donny Osmond, Buzz Aldrin and Ian Ziering talking about their favorites.

The show also wouldn't be what it is without a couple publicity plugs, so Julianne Hough made a reappearance (after a Kelly Clarkson-esque two and a half years) with co-star Kenny Wormald for a "Footloose"-inspired routine that had the crowd on their feet, and me wondering why she doesn't want to come back to the show (or, rather, me wishing she would). She was even in tears at the end of the performance!

Julianne returned with Derek later in the program to do a fast-paced jive to "Shake a Tail Feather." They didn't leave one person in the audience sitting by the end of their dance. Julianne even got to share a butt-grabbing moment with Len!

For song two of the evening, Susan Boyle sang "Unchained Melody" of "Ghost" fame (and yes, I have seen this movie--several times, in fact), although it didn't seem as loving and much more sad, it was definitely reflective of what was to come.

After the stars were weeded out, we were down to two pairs: Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke, the couple with the largest Twitter following I've ever seen (he's usually a trending topic during his dance) and Chynna "frozen" Phillips and Tony Dovolani. Comparing the two, was it really a surprise Chynna went home? Not in my book.

The remaining celebrities take to the ballroom floor once again on next week's Dancing With the Stars, Monday at 9/8c on ABC.
