Big Brother 13

by David McAlpine

When we last left Big Brother, Adam had just won Head of Household, securing himself a spot in the final three. Meanwhile, the ladies began to crunch the numbers: Jordan and Rachel were together, while Porsche knew she needed to do something--and fast--to save herself in this game.

But that all depended on HoH Adam, whose room is filled with bacon. Literally. He asks for everything from home with bacon on it, in it, or wrapped with it. So while I'm trying not to vomit (big anti-bacon person here), Porsche takes an approach many people might not think of, or dare to try: she's not a previous player, nor is Adam, so it would be appropriate if they faced off at the end.

It was kind of her way of saying that she'd rather not go to the final two with him, but if she has to make a deal, this is her way of justifying it.

Meanwhile, Jordan goes on the attack, telling Adam that Porsche doesn't deserve the final three at all. She insists Porsche is a she-devil out to get everyone. Cue Adam to look very uncomfortable, because he's clearly lost on what to do (even though nominations really don't matter due to the veto).

So Adam compromises and does the best of both worlds: he puts up Porsche and Jordan, saying they each had to earn their way off the block. Rachel is in the corner, smiling, preaching Adam every step of the way.

After the veto competition, however, Rachel was singing no one's praise. It was a complicated puzzle with several pieces that revolved around events that happened in the game. Essentially, if you had one piece wrong, chances are you had to redo the whole puzzle. So, being the desperate house guests they are, Adam, Rachel and Jordan started putting their puzzles together piece by piece, while Porsche did it on the ground. And guess who won?

That left Rachel and Jordan up on the block, and a fairly anti-climactic end to the episode. Jordan basically resigns herself to the fact that she's going home (and that she deserves to go home, which is debatable). On her way out, Jordan makes one final pass at Porsche before her interview with the Chenster, leaving Adam, Rachel and Porsche to compete in the final HoH.

In the closing moments of the show, the final three are shown competing in the first part of the final HoH competition: an endurance competition. Each is standing on the prong of a giant mixer, which starts rotating. Stuff gets flung all over them, then they get dipped knee high into Big Brother batter, spinning away.
