Coming into tonight's Big Brother episode, it was the cushy, sideline-playing, whipping boy who bows down to Rachel versus the Care Bear-on-the-outside-evil-on-the-inside Southern sweetie in what was sure to be an epic showdown between them.
Brendon starts campaigning hard, knowing he already has two votes: Rachel and Porsche. His next aim is Shelly, who is trying to play all sides of the house. He got Shelly's "word" (whatever that means from her), then moved onto Adam, where he tried to use logic to strong-arm him into voting with them. Adam, however, wasn't pleased that Brendon was talking down to him--strike one for Brenchel.
Porsche scolds Brendon for playing the "poor me" card, because it's clearly not working and instead scaring people away. Rachel has a moment of frustration and lashes out, feeling she's alone in fighting the house.
She somehow carries that over to Brendon and her's relationship, where she said it was a mistake on his part popping the question--she thinks she's too crazy. I mean, I wasn't going to say anything, but since she did...
Jeff and Jordan, meanwhile, are just sitting by and watching as Brendon and Rachel implode. Jeff wants Rachel out like no other, while Jordan is fine as long as she stayed. Minus Porsche and Rachel, everyone turned out to be fine with that, too, as the hunky-yet-too-annoying swimmer walked out the door, lovingly glancing at Rachel over his shoulder.
We also got to hear from Dick, who broke down Daniele's game play bit by bit, as he sees it. First, I never gave this man credit for how much he thinks or how smart he really is. With that said, he had a lot of insight into Dani's game, including how risky she is, but how much she wants it to payoff.
The next HoH competition was a simple one that involved answering questions about the first three evicted housemates: Keith, Cassi and Dominic. As if this were a movie, Daniele's alliance buddy Kalia took him the HoH title, giving the power pair the lead of the house for at least another week.
The episode didn't stop there, though--there's a huge twist, too! Think we're at the final nine? Not quite yet! As Julie Chen announced after all was said and done, Keith, Cassi, Domnic, Brendon and whoever else gets eliminated this week will be competing for a spot to reenter the game. As if the alliances weren't already changing at lightning speed, this is sure to throw a curveball in the house guests' direction.
Find out who Kalia nominates for eviction on Sunday at 9/8c on CBS.
