Last night on Big Brother 13, it was the final showdown between Adam and Dominic, moreso Dominic's allies versus the rest of the house. Does Dominic have enough clout to stay, or has he been caught in his own web of strategy?
Coming out of the veto meeting, Daniele and Dominic feel screwed. Daniele's plan of turning Jeff and Jordan and Brendon and Rachel again each other failed miserably and, as a result, Dominic is still up on the block and very much so in danger of going home. Pissed as hell, Daniele confronts Brendon and Rachel in the HoH room, saying that Dominic better not go home.
Meanwhile, Jeff is on a rampage to find out who exactly started the idea to backdoor him. After talking to Dominic, Jeff is convinced it was him who got the idea and started formulating the plan, even though it was really Daniele's. Now it seems to me that Dominic is Daniele's scapegoat, and he's going to have to take the fall this week for her shoddy planning.
Jordan is still upset, so she wants to call a house meeting. Jeff thinks Kalia has been acting weird and that Dominic is straight up lying, so he wants to call him out. However, Jeff also knows that if there's a house meeting, the house will break out in war, which isn't something they necessarily want. In a last ditch effort, Dominic tries to expose Daniele as the main culprit, but Brendon and JEff still seem very skeptical of him.
All of a sudden, Kalia enters the picture and starts talking to Brendon about this week's vote. Her flip flopping causes him to explode on her, and she explodes right back. After that, Jordan calls a house meeting to get everything out in the air. Kalia gets caught in the meeting telling her own web of lies, but everyone really focuses on Daniele, who Jeff points a finger at right away. It soon turns into a house-wide argument of "he said, she said."
Now, on the live show, the lines are very clearly defined and everyone seems to know where they stand, as well as who has to win HoH for them to stay safe. After a nice speech by Adam and an insult-fest by Dominic, everyone takes to the Diary Room to vote. In a 7-1 vote (everyone except Daniele), Dominic is sent out the door.
Outside the house, Dominic is clearly not happy that he's sitting there, and he's mad the newbies had no spine in his book. He said his friendship with Daniele was real, and that playing both sides of the fence was what really got him in the end.
Back inside, the HoH competition was one of pure endurance, where each person had to stand on a pair of skis--the person who stood on them the longer would win head of household. To make things worse, Big Brother simulates wintry conditions (high wind, snow) to knock the house guests' concentration.
Tune in to Big Brother 13 at 9/8c this Sunday on CBS to see who wins HoH and who gets nominated!
