It's been the longest season in Biggest Loser history and now it's down to four: sisters Olivia and Hannah, Irene, the biggest loser on campus, and Jay, who was eliminated only to come back to the ranch weeks later. Last night, I was sitting in the live studio audience for the season finale, where it was time for one last weigh-in, and one last chance to take home the $250,000 prize.
First up on stage are the two who were put to America's vote: Irene and Jay. Irene is the clear audience favorite, and she's been the internet's favorite to win all week. So, it came as no surprise when Irene was announced as the winner of America's vote, and earned her spot in the finale.
Once that's taken care of, the trainers are reintroduced and Jillian brings down the house, as it's her last season on the show. She's incredibly grateful to the audience and she seems genuinely flattered that everyone in the room is standing up for her.
Then, it was time to start the weigh-ins for the at-home prize. There's $100,000 riding on this--this is no small task! First out on stage are Irene mother's, Ana, as well as mother/daughter team Courtney and Marci. They all look fantastic, and it's clear that Ana has a whole new lease on life. Courtney is spunky per usual, and Marci looks like an entirely different person. Their results were:
Ana: -109 (42.75%)
Courtney: -110 (-34.06%)
Marci: -86 (-36.13%)
With that, Ana takes an early lead, but she still has to beat everyone else who went home! Next up are twins Dan and Don who, I will admit, I thought were going to come back nearly as heavy as they were when they started the show, given their attitudes on the ranch, but instead come out looking half their size. The entire audience was floored and on their feet. Husband and wife Q and Larialmy came out after them. Their results:
Dan: -124 (-43.21%)
Don: -130 (-42.07%)
Q: -93 (-21.28%)
Larialmy: -84 (-27.91%)
Now Dan is in the lead, and it seems impossible that anyone can beat him. But still, we've seen at-home contestants post 50+% numbers (remember Jerry?), so it's still anyone's game.
Moses, Kaylee, Ken and Austin are next. Moses and Kaylee get a huge whoop from Sione behind me (and I can tell you he is *very* loud), because they both look so good. The confidence from Kaylee was radiating off of her. Ken and Austin also look much happier, and Austin carries himself with a swagger now! Their results:
Moses: -153 (-34.77%)
Kaylee: -54 (-23.18%)
Ken: -158 (-41.91%)
Austin: -174 (-43.94%)
Austin moves into the lead over Dan, but there's still more cast members to go. Next is Sarah, Deni, Arthur and Jesse. Sarah and Deni have their own cheering squad clad in pink, and they deserved it. Sarah looked amazing and confident and Deni brought the house down. When looking at her before picture, you would have never thought this was her in a million years. Absolutely mind-boggling. The results from these four:
Sarah: -106 (-40.81%)
Deni: -125 (-48.83%)
Arthur: -163 (-32.15%)
Jesse: -83 (-28.33%)
Now Deni is in the lead! And man, does she deserve it. The crowd is going nuts, and there's only three people left to weigh in: Jay, Jennifer and Justin. (*NOTE: Because Rulon opted the leave the show, he was not eligible to win a prize, and thus was not at the finale.) They all looked good, but it didn't seem like it was enough to beat Deni. Their final results:
Jay: -181 (-45.25%)
Jennifer: -114 (-41.01%)
Justin: -173 (-47.40%)
Though Justin gets close, it's all Deni's game, and she gets to walk away with $100,000! Congrats to her, as she looked absolutely fantastic. But now on with the other results--who will be crowned this season's Biggest Loser? We already saw Irene, so it was time for Hannah and Olivia to burst out. And wow, did they look great. I mean Hannah looked fantastic, but Olivia looked absolutely knockout, and it was apparent that this was going to be a close one. Irene was the Biggest Loser on campus, so she picked the order: Hannah, herself, then Olivia.
While they go change, Alison makes the announcement about the newest trainer on the ranch: tennis player Anna Kournikova. She was number 1 in the world at one point (in doubles, but whatever) and she's hot. Reports also say when she gets angry, she screams in Russian--how great is that? Sounds like she'll be a spicy new addition to the show.
Finally, the three women come out and weigh-in. The final results were:
Hannah: -120 (-48.39%)
Irene: -116 (-45.49%)
Olivia: -129 (-49.43%)
So with that, Olivia walked away with the $250,000 and the title of this year's Biggest Loser! Props to her, she really deserved it.
Stay tuned to RealityWanted throughout the week for exclusive interviews with this year's finalists, the trainers and some of the fan favorites from this season!
