On this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County Alexis is getting ready for her trip to Texas to meet up with Gretchen. She is shopping  for cowboy boots, but she is a little nervous because of the tension between she and Peggy. 

Vicki calls Tamra because she saw something online that Simon was in jail. Tamra called the cops because he showed up and threw the dog leash at her son and she.  Tamra goes to court with a temporary restraining order but the charges are dropped on Simon.

Gretchen picks up Alexis, Peggy and Fernanda at the airport, and Alexis talks a little about how she is allowed to go because Jim trusts the girls. Gretchen loves Texas because she went to school there. While they are eating, the subject of Slade comes up.  All the girls are talking about how they knew it was the one, and Alexis gets competitive with Peggy. Then Fernanda talks about her relationship, which Alexis disregards. 

The girls go to Texas Pride Barbeque and Alexis gets her grub on. They are all usually so restrained with food and Alexis loves the food. She talks about how she had an eating disorder and had to get it under control. Her relationship comes up, and how Jim was acting like her savior and not her husband. She says she used to feel like he kept her in a little bubble, but he realized she was miserable.  The girls go cowboy dancing and there are real bulls in the place.  Then they find the fake bull, and all the girls ride except for Peggy because of her recent boob job. 

Every once in awhile, there is a jab that Alexis is giving to Peggy…annoying….

Meanwhile, Vicki and Don go on a double date with Tamra and Eddie.  Don and Vicki talk about how it was when they got together and she was still getting a divorce from Mike. The same is going on with Tamra and Simon, and Eddie.  Tamra tells them that Gina Keough was the first person to call her and say that she needed to make it right. Vicki is not surprised, she thinks Gina gets involved and always defends emotionally abusive men.

Gina and Tamra meet up because Gina is talking badly to the press about her.  Tamra tells Gina that it is her 12 year marriage and she needs to stay out of it.  Gina swears that he wasn’t abusive.  Tamra thinks she is about to have a nervous breakdown.
