Ghost Hunters Season 7

Team: Amy Bruni, Kris Williams, Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson, Dave Tango, and Steve Gonsalves.

Story By: Chad Alan

In an interesting twist, the whole town of Alexandria is calling in TAPS to investigate three different spots and is requesting the revealing of the evidence to be in town hall form on TV.  The people of Alexandria have become concerned about the paranormal activity and this same concern, or fear, has been rolled over to the tourists.  So what better way to calm their fears but to bring in a team of people who can do nothing more but tell them they're right.

Three spots will form the center of the investigation; The Hotel Bentley, Finnegan's Wake Tavern, and the Diamond Grill restaurant.  The tavern and restaurant share similar paranormal activity.  Glasses are regularly knocked over and shattered, items are moved to different spots, shadow figures and apparitions catch people's attention, and loud noises and footsteps come from areas where no one is to be found.  The Hotel Bentley has had a few tragic accidents and Joseph Bentley, who built the hotel in 1912, passed away in his personal suite.  What is interesting about these locations is that they are all in the same area of town.

Hotel Bentley:

Jason and Grant focused started their investigation in the ball room.  Jason mentioned feeling a pressure on his head and this was followed by a noise that he explained sounded like someone pushing a cart.  They heard a few more noises and headed to the lobby area where Jason believed he actually saw someone on the stairwell.  It was one of two black shadows that caught his attention.  Of course, nobody was around but them.  As Jason was going through his review of their experience an something said "No you don't," which was audible by the TV audience.  A few more voices were heard and they were both pretty impressed with the activity.  They headed to the mezzanine and perched themselves on the railing.  After seeing a few random lights that lit up the room, they headed back down to the main level where they were then began hearing footsteps down the hall.  They couldn't track down the noises, so they moved on.  A review of the video did show the flickering light that caught there attention.

Steve and Dave headed to the floor where Joseph Bentley lived and died.  As they were trying to make contact with Mr. Bentley or whomever may want to make their self known, a few knocking noises came in response to their questions but the activity died down.

Diamond Grill:

Jason and Grant registered very high EMF readings in the bar area.  They headed to the kitchen and things got active quickly.  The kitchen door was found moving and then Jason was startled by a something sticking itself out of a doorway.  Nobody was there.

Amy Bruni and Adam Berry tried to see if they could get the attention of a woman named "Stella" who worked at the restaurant for 30 years before passing.  It was after her passing that that the workers noticed a lot of paranormal activity.  They registered some high EMF readings and also tried to debunk a noise that caught their attention but nothing they did recreated the sound.  They did catch three EVP's on review, one was hard to understand, the other seemed to be saying "Hey, Adam" and the third seemed to be saying "I'm Sorry."

Finnegan's Wake Tavern:

Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango spent their time trying to see if there were any reasons why glasses kept flying off the shelves.  Everything seemed sturdy and it did not appear normal human movement could be causing items to get loose.  An audio device did catch something "singing."  A female's voice was also caught on another EVP but again, nothing obvious could be understood.

TAPS felt that all three locations had paranormal activity and looked forward to coming back and doing another investigation in the town.
