The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

This week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills started with Kyle training for a 69 mile bike ride in Napa. She also has to get a Brazilian wax for it, as it supposedly helps the ride. Mauricio wants to take the weekend and just go up there with her, and take an extra day. Kyle is really stressed out because her housekeeper just quit and her nanny isn’t available so she doesn’t know who is going to watch the kids and feels guilty about leaving them.

Adrienne invited Taylor over for a kick boxing lesson. Taylor, who is helping to throw a charity event for abused women and children, invites Adrienne and Paul to come to the poker tournament fund raiser. Taylor was a victim of abuse as a child so this charity is near and dear to her. When the organizer asks her to speak at the poker tournament, Taylor is a nervous wreck. On the way to the event Russell decides to criticize her for having it that weekend, since a lot of his friends are out of town. But, the show must go on. Kato Kaelin and Jose Canseco show up, as do Adrienne and Paul in some outrageous cowboy outfits…Taylor nervously gives her speech and it is well received. Even Russell looks proud of her.

Lisa and Cedric are practicing for their driver’s license test, as both have British licenses still. Lisa feels this might help get Cedric out of the house, but she is worried she won’t have anyone to play with after her moves out! Watching her go into the DMV is pretty hilarious, as she says that there was quite an “eclectic” mix of people (i.e. weirdos!) there. Of course, Lisa passes and Cedric fails. Maybe on purpose, Lisa surmises.

The more we watch Kim the more of a lost cause she seems to be. First of all, she comes off as dingy, but the dynamic between the sisters is also hard to watch. Kyle isn’t exactly kind to Kim, and Kim just sort of takes it. After her blind date is a bust with Martin, apparently because she never called to thank him for the ride home (Kim believes the man should call the woman…and to be honest, it seems right, if he wanted to ask her out, wouldn’t he have called her?) she talks to a guy she met in the grocery store near her home.

During a barbeque that Kim has at her house, the man calls, and instead of taking it seriously, she teases him, and gives the phone to her adolescent daughter that then lies to him about how many kids Kim has. She brushes it off as her daughter’s personality but honestly, that is just RUDE.Plus, she totally hiding behind her kids.  When she invites him over, he brings his granddaughter with him, and Kim lies some more about everyone in the house being her child, including a 1 year old baby.  Sorry Kim, but if you are going to sabotage and torture anyone that goes out of there way and expresses interest in you, you WILL be alone for the rest of your life…it was hard to watch and just plain MEAN.

Lastly, we watch Camille complain more about Kyle, and dig for worship and compliments from her so-called friends. Talk about beating a dead horse. Now she wants to mend fences with Kyle and plans on inviting them all over for dinner to do so. Interestingly enough though, she does mention that she was supposed to move to the apartment in New York to be with her husband but “Plans changed” and now she won’t be going until September. Apparently, her husband wants to stay in New York and she doesn’t want to go. Sounds like we are watching the beginning of the end of their marriage at this point, and it’s likely that his affair has already started. Now that IS sad to watch.
