Last night, on Survivor: Nicaragua, the harsh elements are starting to wear down some of the contestants. However, they have more important things to focus on - like who to vote out next! On one side of things you have Sash, Brenda, NaOnka, and Chase. On the other, there's Benry, Fabio, Holly, and Jane. I would factor Purple Kelly and Dan into this equation but so far, they have yet to do

anything that makes them worthy of being factored.

 

For the reward challenge, the players are divided into two teams and muse use 4 barrels, 4 planks, and 10 feet of rope to make their way across a playing course without touching the ground. The blue team (NaOnka, Chase, Jane, Purple Kelly, and Fabio) have a great system, working calmly together in order to win pizza, brownies, and a trip to volcano surf via helicopter! Probst had some great lines to the yellow team, including, "We got some Cirque du Soleil going on over here" and "If this were life and death, you'd be dead".

 

The volcano surfing is a lot more like volcano sledding but it's still pretty damn awesome! While talking strategy over their pizza feast, NaOnka pulls Fabio aside in front of everyone and then asks him to vote out Brenda. Na will do anything to stay in the game, including backstab her alliance. She still doesn't get that she won't get the votes to win if she makes it to the end playing the way she did.

 

While everyone was off at the reward challenge, the entire camp caught fire and major damage had been done. They basically lost their entire camp, including the chests, the food, the machete... everything.

 

As soon as Chase returns from his reward, he runs to Brenda to let her know that people want to take her out. He better hope he's higher on her totem pole than it seems. If she was smart, she'd take him to the end and not Sash. Sash has done WAY more in this game than Chase has.

 

For the immunity challenge, players had to hold on to a knot on a rope while leaning back over a pool of water. If they let go, they'd hit the water and be out. Immediately, Sash and Purple Kelly go out. Brenda falls in the water next followed by Dan, Fabio, NaOnka, and Benry. That leaves Jane and Chase. Jane offers to drop but Jeff yells at her to stay in it. Her strength in both body and mind pay off. Jane wins immunity and Chase takes a dip in the pool.

 

Back at camp, the scheming begins. Chase and Sash gun for Benry while NaOnka approaches Sash about blindsiding Brenda. It's a big power move that leaves them both with an idol still. Chase runs back to Brenda and lets her know that it's possible she can't be saved. Her alliance members have idols they're clearly not willing to give her and they're turning on her. Brenda goes to Sash to make a case to stay while the others get pissed that Chase ran his mouth.

 

Heading into tribal, there's a juicy plan being thrown around where Sash will give Brenda the idol and they'll blindside NaOnka. Oooh!!!!

At tribal council, Brenda admits that she didn't want to vote Marty out and says she trusted her alliance until now. She calls out NaOnka who denies backstabbing anyone. Purple Kelly admits feeling out of the loop and says it's the first time she's felt that way but she's appeared out of the loop all season long!

 

When the votes are read, no idol is played and Brenda is voted out of the game.
