The Real Housewives of Atlanta is picking up steam and in this week’s episode we learn that Lawrence, Sheree's stylist and he of the stilettos, is working with Kandi to develop his music. Kim is working with Kandi too, and not only is Kim NOT impressed with Lawrence (who, for the record is a much better singer), but she doesn’t like The Ring Doesn’t Mean A Thing, the track Kandi just put together for her.

Of course, Kandi is being a tiny bit passive aggressive by making the song really difficult with tons of range, so Kim can’t sing it unless she does the work to get her voice there. This is the Kim who fired her last voice coach and still smokes a pack a day. She attempts to sing the song…train wreck. Then, later, she has a garage sale which she has her dad manage. He makes her $10,000 but just her couch was worth 4 times that…

Cynthia meets with her baby’s daddy, Leon Robinson for a play date with their daughter Noelle. I love that Leon backwards is Noel and that is his daughter’s name! They get along really well and discuss her possibility of becoming engaged to Peter, which is making her nervous. Maybe it’s the five kids he already has? 

Phaedra and her client Latavia (from Destiny’s Child) meet so that Phaedra can butter her up and represent her, while of course slipping in some “I’m so wonderful’s”. Later, Phaedra goes to Kim’s garage sale, and she, Cynthia, NeNe and Kim sit down inside the burger shop the garage sale is happening. Phaedra dances around her due date, and NO ONE is buying that she is full term at 7 months.  It is May and Phaedra is saying she is due in August. NeNe knows there must be a reason she is lying, and maybe it isn’t Apollo’s baby? NeNe thinks she needs to stop saying it out loud or people will think she is really crazy…

NeNe lines up for Brice to meet Peter, Cynthia’s boyfriend, since he wants to be a club promoter. Peter says he worked at McDonalds; he worked a ton of jobs WHILE he was going to college. (Umm….Brice is neither working NOR going to college currently). Cynthia tells NeNe that Gregg looks good, but Gregg seems so defensive that he is upset. NeNe and Gregg are really not getting along, and NeNe is getting drunk and more drunk, which is awkward for Cynthia and Peter.

Finally, Gregg goes downstairs, to his “man cave” and NeNe is upset that he isn’t communicating, so she decides to lecture Peter and Cynthia on communicating. NeNe, at this point, wasted, alludes to infidelity in their marriage, which is all news to Cynthia. It turns into a sloppy mess. Can’t these two just buck up, get some counseling, and be done with it?? We all LOVE NeNe and Gregg!
