Following Yve's elimination on Survivor: Nicaragua, Marty and Jill felt left out of the loop and betrayed by one of their own - Jane. Marty tries to do some damage control with La Flor and knows now that he'll probably have to play that idol the next time they end up at tribal council. He goes to Jane just to make sure that they're okay. With a straight face, Jane tell him that she still trusts him and doesn't believe he ever lied to her.
At the reward challenge, players must throw a ball in a net in the water while a defender from the opposing tribe tries to stop them. Fabio tried to ruin the game by peeing in the water but these players are used to dirty conditions. They got in that urine-filled water anyway and kept on playing! Espada won the challenge and will enjoy a horseback ride and breakfast the following morning.
During their meal together, Espada feels grateful and bonded with one another, crying over their watermelon and sharing hugs. The only one who can't seem to find any true human emotion is NaOnka who calls Alina out in her interview for being fake. Can't she appreciate anything?
For the immunity challenge, two tribe members stood atop a tower while four members stood below to aim a chute that a ball would roll down to break the opposing tribe's tiles. Good communication and a calm demeanor helped Espada win yet another challenge.
If I had to guess, the older members of La Flor are in trouble yet again. The young, original members of Espada are looking to run this game and can easily do so from this point on.
Well check out Fabio and Sash stepping up their strategy. Back at the La Flor camp, Fabio suggests they put 3 votes on Marty and 2 votes on Jill. Marty and Jill will vote for Brenda, most likely, which results in a tie. During the revote, they'll just take Jill out. Fabio did that math all by himself! Sash wants to go to Marty and tell him to play the idol or give it to him in order to completely guarantee his safety. If Marty makes it through tribal, he's going to need to pray to the heavens above for a merge ASAP!
Right before tribal, Marty hands the idol over to Sash. That's either a really smart or really stupid move.
At tribal council, Marty calls Jane out for flipflopping and siding with whoever she has to in order to advance. Well, that's part of the game. Marty and Jill have remained blue, even though their tribe color is yellow. It'll be their downfall in the same. Sash makes a slip when he says that if he loses trust in his tribe/alliance, he still has the idol. That'll stick in their minds for a while... if they're smart.
When the votes are read, it comes to Jane, Jill, and Marty. There is no tie and Jill is headed home.
