In this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Washington DC, things are slowly building to a boil as we prepare for the season finale.  

Lynda is helping put together a fashion show that is more of an international event with Africa and the US. This episode shows her getting the models together, meeting with the designers and adamantly sending email photos of the Salahi’s to the security of the event to make sure that they were not admitted inside. Once at the event, she again meets with security just to make sure that the Salahi’s are nowhere in sight. 

Stacie is still in search of her biological father and is getting a little closer…maybe. Jason and she sent an elusive email to her birth mother’s son, and of course, he never answered. Probably because he thought it was some crazy Facebook stalker wanting to be “friends”. They set up an appointment with a lady from the Nigerian agency and once they are with her, Stacie and she realize that they are from the same state and the same capitol city in Nigeria. The woman thinks that she will be able to make a few phone calls to see what she can do about finding Stacie’s father.

At one point, Lynda, Cat and Mary have lunch and talk about how lonely Cat is still with Charles traveling so much, and then of course the Salahi’s come up…naturally.

Cat and Charles have been invited to the White House Christmas dinner and Cat is excited to meet President Obama. 

Most of the show is dedicated to watching Michaele get ready for the State Dinner at the White House.  She has her makeup done, has her hair done and has help putting on her now infamous red sari. At the end, her hair stylist asks to see the invitation. At that point, Michaele goes to the car to find it, and can’t find the bag it was in. She then asks the producers where the bag went and they don’t know either. She tells Tareq that she has forgotten the invitation, along with her bra and designer shoes, at home. Tareq assures her that they do not need an invitation and that it is more of a formality than anything else. 

Of course, we the viewers know better! 

Here is the thing. We know that the Salahi’s have a tie to India because of their polo club. They will be hosting India in a polo match. The State Dinner at The White House is hosted for India in this instance, hence the sari Michaele is wearing…so it isn’t too farfetched that even if they weren’t invited, that they would be tied to this…it will be interesting to see what they have to say on the finale next week, and the reunion show after that.
