Last night, on The City, Whitney found out from Kelly that she has been selected for a feature with Glamour magazine. Naturally, Whit wants to bring along Roxy but Kelly tries to discourage it, saying people will start thinking Roxy actually works for her clothing line and has a say.

 

Joe continued to form an alliance with Olivia at Elle by inviting her to swanky party after swanky party. First stop, Eric Daman's, the costume designer for Gossip Girl. Of course, the cast is on hand from Blake to Leighton to Chase and Olivia walks around, kissing both cheeks and ass like she has known them since childhood. Still, she makes a good impression on Eric, with her confidence and great fashion sense.

 

Erin skips out on the party to have drinks with Neel Shah, from Page Six, to discuss the latest office gossip. Of course, she divulges that Olivia blew off her interview with Whitney but also speaks very highly of Alexis, Elle's new fashion director.

 

Whitney, meanwhile, chooses to ignore Kelly's advice and invite Roxy along to the meeting with Glamour anyway. The magazine has asked Whitney to take two of the skirts from her collection and build looks around it for under $100. She is in great company, as the feature has used top designers like Michael Kors and Anna Sui in the past.

 

Olivia's next invite is to the Elie Tahari party at Bergdorf Goodman, where she comes dressed in his clothing (always a good move). Whitney and good friend Samantha are also in attendance, but Roxy is a no show. Whit is able to connect back with some of her Bergdorf contacts, who seem interested in seeing her fall collection - success!

 

Not surprisingly, Roxy is late on the day of the Glamour meeting and blows in through the door, only to turn around and criticize everything Whitney does, then put together a "ballerina gone hooker" look that leaves everyone in the room a bit speechless.

 

Glamour ultimately decides to go with the look that Whitney pulled, as opposed to Roxy's streetwalker getup. Back at People's Rev, Kelly goes off on Roxy for her behavior at Glamour then pulls Whitney aside to remind her that she's never wrong about these things. It's true. Listen up, Whit.

 

In a meeting in Joe's office, he reveals that Elle has received a mention in Page Six. Just when you think Erin has finally grown a pair to publicly throw Olivia under the bus, it turns out that the piece is actually about Alexis. Maybe that's how Erin is playing now. Just don't mention Olivia at all. I like it.
