Dancing With the Stars Season 10

This week on Dancing With the Stars: The Results, the second round of the college dance competition occurs and the finalists are announced.

 

Evan and Anna was the first couple announced as a finalist next week.

 

Len gave his weekly breakdown of the dances.

 

Erin’s first dance was beautiful but her nerves get to her. Her second dance was full of intensity.

 

Nicole’s first performance tickled Len’s taste buds and her second really showed that she can dance.

 

Chad’s first dance was a revelation but his second performance didn’t cut it.

 

Evan had a wonderful Fox Trot and his second performance was genius.

 

The judges chose to see Evan and Anna’s Paso Doble again.

 

The journeys of the professional dancers were revealed throughout the show.

 

Maksim is from Ukraine. He moved to Brooklyn, New York and got beat up his second day in the United States.

 

Cheryl grew up in the Bay Area in California and was always very quiet.

 

Anna grew up in a small town in Russia. Her and her family moved to the United States because the air was bad for her in Russia.

 

Derek is originally from Utah but he moved to London to pursue dancing.

 

Sara McLaughlin performed “In the Arms of an Angel.”

 

For the Macy’s Stars of Dance performance, Joey Fatone and Melissa Rycroft returned to dance together.

 

Purdue University from last week’s episode was announced as moving on to the college championship.

 

Rutgers University was up first. Len thought they had a great effort considering the short time they had to prepare. Bruno thought they did a really good job for a new team. Carrie Ann thought the patterns and creativity were good. The team was given a score of seven from each judge giving them 21 out of 30.

 

Utah Valley University was up next. Bruno had an array of different words to describe their performance including fantastic, sharp, precise and brilliant. Carrie Ann thought it was incredible. Len thought it was a very accomplished performance. Both Bruno and Carrie Ann gave them a 10 and Len gave them a nine leaving UVU with a final score of 29 out of 30.

 

The College Dance Championship is next Tuesday.

 

Miley Cyrus performed her latest hit “Can’t Be Tamed.”

 

Nicole and Derek was the next couple announced safe into the finals, which left Chad and Cheryl and Erin and Maksim in the bottom two.

 

The last couple announced to be a finalist was Erin and Maksim.

 

Chad and Cheryl had to say their goodbyes. Chad enjoyed the journey and met wonderful people. He jokingly plans on coming back as a professional next season. Very funny Chad!
