Tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York starts with Ramona picking up Sonja for the girls trip she has planned. They are going to St. John’s. Jill and LuAnn are not going and Ramona thinks it is because it is not about her. Ramona is glad, as she thinks they are “buzz kills”.

 

LuAnn meets with a music producer to record a song. “Money Can’t Buy You Class.” The producer is funny and keeps using terms such as “Do it before we lost it.”

 

Bethenny, Alex, Sonja and Kelly are there. Bethenny flies in right after her father’s death and she is emotional. She is hoping that it will be a healing trip for her.

 

Kelly jokes that she doesn’t eat processed foods but eats gummy bears, in the car in St. John’s and Bethenny calls her on it. She says a lot of strange things this episode, as a matter of fact.

 

The car rolls up and the girls are excited but don’t know what to expect. They walk up to a pier and figure out that they are going on a yacht. They are very excited! They all layout and cruise. Ramona is worried about Bethenny and wants to make sure she is okay. When the conversation turns to Jill, and the altercation that Ramona and she had, Kelly gets uncomfortable and says that they shouldn’t be talking about Jill or getting emotional. Then Alex mentions the text that Jill sent her about Bethenny’s father dying and Kelly  thinks the girls are making “Lemons out of lemonade!” no wait….Bethenny corrects her, “Mountains out of molehills.” Kelly gets even more worked up, and gets up from the tables saying that their behavior is “vile”. All of this is really weird.

Sonja tries to stay out of it, and just wants to know when they are getting pedicures. Finally, Kelly comes back and apologizes but everyone says “Who cares?”

 

Bethenny and Alex get ready for their evening before everyone else and meet on deck. They discuss Bethenny’s dad’s death a bit and then wonder about Kelly. Alex says “What WAS that?” to which they both laugh and Bethenny says “Did you got to Columbia the country??” referring to Kelly’s Ivy League degree.

 

Meanwhile, back at home, LuAnn goes on a date with the guy from last week’s show and they sort of perv out on ordering sexy drinks. He goes in for the kiss and she kind of shuts him down, most likely cause they are on camera. Later, she kisses him more.

 

Back on the yacht, Ramona hosts dinner and has the girls seated in specific places. Later, Ramona goes yacht hopping and meets the owner of Hooters on his yacht. She pleads for the girls to go back over to his yacht with her, and Alex goes with her. Kelly brings out shots for Sonja and her, and while Bethenny is talking about her father and Kelly is full of a bunch of advice that doesn’t really match with the circumstances. Kelly says a lot of people have had the same life. At this point Sonja sort of breaks down about her divorce and what a blow to the ego it was to her. Kelly is annoyed and says to get over it, and Sonja says Kelly is uncomfortable with emotions. She says it is “so 1979”. At that point, Kelly starts to lay into Bethenny saying that she has put her and her children in the press and Bethenny is denying all of it. Kelly says “Nobody cares about you Bethenny. No one! You are vindictive, malicious, cunning and deceitful and it’s creepy!” Bethenny is floored by it. Kelly goes on, “You are not a chef, you are a cook! It’s creepy!”

 

Bethenny finally answers back with “You speak and you don’t know what you are saying!” Kelly actually even calls Bethenny a ho-bag.

Bethenny gets up and leaves to go to the Hooters boat at that point and says “Adios, Lunatic! I’m going to the Hooters boat with the sane people”.

 

On the Hooters boat, Ramona is wasted and flirting with the owner of Hooters but says she is crazy about her husband. Bethenny comes on board and briefs Alex and Ramona. But then, Sonja and Kelly show up. Ramona is wasted, but shuts Kelly down from freaking out on the yacht by saying she must be peaceful. Once they get off the boat, Sonja and Kelly go back to go to sleep on the boat while the other girls go to Turtle to dance the night away!

The yacht trip is to be continued next week…
