The Real Housewives of New Jersey are back for their second season starting tomorrow night! This means that a) Monday nights are no longer going to be that terrible gaping hole that they usually are for nine to fivers b) New Jersey and New York will be running simultaneously which might be a challenge for those of us who are die hard Housewives fans but also have other obligations, you know like kids and significant others which means it might be time to invest in Tivo or a DVR so you don't miss anything! c) I have been writing about the Housewives for a full year which means it has been about that long since we last saw the Jersey girls!

Last we saw, Caroline Manzo was flipping out on the couch in the reunion episode about "something" that antagonist Danielle Staub did after the show wrapped.  Jacqueline Laurita was about to burst with a bouncing baby boy, and Teresa Guidice was coming along in her pregnancy as well.  Dina Manzo was busy with her charity work, and attempting to take the high road, which wasn't easy for her or any of the other girls. 

Since then, both Jacqueline and Teresa have welcomed happy, healthy babies into their busy lives and somehow managed to get back to their teeny tiny un-pregnant selves. Teresa has also finished  and published her cookbook,  Danielle has finished and published a book of her own, and the rest of the girls seem busy enough. Thanks to Twitter, you can stay up on their activities but one thing is very clear, they are not on the best of terms with Danielle. We will get a lot more of that this season, according to the previews, including the lawsuit that Danielle went through with Jacqueline's daughter.

Also this week on Twitter, you may have witnessed the girls pondering what they will be wearing for the exclusive premiere party at The Brownstone on Monday night. Although all of us would love to be there, some of us live in Kansas and California. In that case, Bravo announced that there will be a Ustream feed  Monday night that we can ALL get in on!

In a press release, Bravo stated, "Andy Cohen hosts a live social media event on Ustream giving Housewives fans an up-close-and-personal invite to the New Jersey premiere party hosted by the Manzo family at the infamous Brownstone catering facility. Through live streaming on both Bravotv.com and Ustream.tv, viewers will get exclusive access to the event, interviews with the Housewives and their families and other Bravolebrities in attendance, as well as minute-by-minute reactions to what's happening as the premiere unfolds live on-air. Viewers can interact with Andy and the Housewives via Twitter and Facebook throughout the event, and Andy will respond to comments and questions from fans during the live streaming. Thesocial media event will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET on Monday, May 3 and will end after the premiere ends at 11 p.m. ET. Fans can join the party athttp://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey/premiere-party."
