Robyn Berkley is a partner at People's Revolution and Kelly Cutrone jokingly refers to her as "Snow White with razor blades" on Bravo's Kell On Earth. She has a sweet exterior but has no problem switching over to a no nonsense publicist who accepts nothing short of perfection at the drop of a hat. Today, Robyn spoke to RealityWanted in an exclusive interview about letting cameras in to watch their every move at People's Revolution, her crazy busy life, and what she likes to do during her down time.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Was it difficult to adjust to the cameras being around, for Kell On Earth?
A. Robyn: I think we didn't really focus on the cameras. It was just work as usual. They were here 12 hours a day. I didn't really feel any pressure. I'm here to do my job.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: We've seen some interns come and go already this season. How do you know if someone is going to work out and how do you know who's there because they really have an interest in fashion?
A. Robyn: We do get a lot of interns. I give them small tasks in order to see how they are. If they do a great job, I'll give them more responsibility. If they have a bad attitude or bad follow through, then this probably isn't the job for them. In terms of knowing who's here for the right reasons, it's just an inclination that we have, if they seem to be more focused on fashion or on being on tv.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What have you been up to lately with People's Revolution?
A. Robyn: We just finished New York Fashion Week recently and we had five different events going on there. We also just got involved with a charity called Massive Good. I just went to a dinner hosted by Claire Danes. We're repping the Scope Art Fair, here in New York. Last week was really busy and we have some events coming up later this month, too.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Can you tell us a little more about the charity?
A. Robyn: Sure, the charity is called Massive Good and anytime to you book a plane ticket or a car rental or a hotel reservation, you can choose to donate two dollars. It's a travel initiative and the money will go to Unitaid, which helps fight HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis. This is going to be a huge global campaign. We just recorded a song with Will.I.Am and this is a really exciting time.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You seem so busy! What do you do in your down time?
A. Robyn: In my down time, I love to travel. I'm a big gym person and I love to go hiking and biking.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Are we getting an accurate depiction of life at People's Revolution on Kell On Earth?
A. Robyn: Yeah, you're getting an accurate depiction. We take things really seriously at People's Revolution but we also have a lot fun.
