The final episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey starts out with Dina visiting Teresa at her new home. Teresa mentions to Dina that she wants to host a dinner party, and is planning on inviting Danielle since she is friends with Jacqueline. Teresa wants to be polite.

Danielle pulls out some old modeling photos of herself to show her daughters, in a way to bring up the infamous “book” that her first ex-husband wrote about her. She feels the girls should know because it is idle gossip in Franklin Lakes.

Jacqueline has her parents visiting and asks them about how to introduce the new Jeep to Ashley. Her father suggests that she approach it as a loaner car that Ashley will use, and if she continues to do well in school, the car will eventually be hers.  Chris pulls up in the new Jeep and explains that it is in his name but is an incentive for her to keep up the good work.

Dina helps clean out Lexi’s room, and they get rid of all of her stuffed animals and candy. Dina realizes that Lexi is growing up, and has dinner with Caroline to discuss her desire to quit her career. Dina decides that she is going to become a true “housewife” and cherish every moment she has at home with her family.

Meanwhile Caroline gets a German shepherd named Atlas and is having it trained as a guard dog.

The dinner party is held at one of Teresa’s favorite Italian Restaurants, Lu Nello in Cedar Grove, NJ. All of the women and their families arrive except for Danielle. Everyone is checking out Teresa’s breast augmentation, which is new. The adults have a few drinks before sitting down at the dinner table. Once seated, Danielle shows up with her two daughters. It is apparent that everyone is getting a bit intoxicated at the dinner table. The restaurant serves oysters, and Joe Guidice is disgusted by them. Teresa wants to try one, and then remembers they are said to be an aphrodisiac. She asks Joe not to have anymore and makes a joke about Joe already being exceedingly amorous to the point where he wouldn’t even give her a break after her surgery for breast augmentation. Everyone seems to be laughing and having a great time.

Suddenly, Danielle pulls out the “book” Cop Without A Badge and lays it on the table. The laughing at the table stops. Here we go again Danielle! One wonders why she couldn’t let it go and be dignified for one night. Jacqueline mentions that she feels like they are being ambushed. Danielle asks for everyone’s attention, and asks if she can be heard out about the lies that are in the book. Dina realizes then, that Danielle is gearing the conversation toward her. Danielle admits that the mug shot is indeed her, that she was arrested and that she did change her name. While talking, Danielle is interrupted by Teresa and Dina and begins to lose her temper. Caroline starts to moderate asking the table to “Let her speak.” Danielle admits that she has made a lot of mistakes and is directing her anger at Dina. When Dina begins to interrupt again to ask questions, Caroline again interjects but this time asks Dina to be quiet and addresses Danielle with: “Say what you need to say” but to “Look at me, because I am the one that told them.” “Them” being the gossip mill of Franklin Lakes, the salon Chateau the Art of Beauty and everyone that happened to be patronizing it the day the book came to light. Danielle doesn’t believe her right away and mentions that she was told it was Dina.

Jacqueline comes to Danielle’s defense, confronting Dina. According to her, Dina was excited when she found the book on the Internet and couldn’t wait to tell everyone. Jacqueline calls Dina a liar and says she won’t cover for her anymore. Turns out, Dina ordered the book, and then Caroline and she brought it to Chateau the Art of Beauty, and exposed it.

Teresa interjects to ask why Danielle’s ex-husband would ever write this book in the first place? Danielle snaps at Teresa and Teresa loses it. Granted, Teresa did seem pretty drunk earlier in the evening, but she has a right to get upset as it was her dinner party that is now completely ruined because of this. Teresa tips the table and spills food and wine before Joe can get her up and out of the room.

Dina tells Danielle that the book really has nothing to do with anything and that she just can’t “stomach” Danielle. Danielle essentially says “ditto” before Chris, Jacqueline’s husband steps in and asks everyone to calm down. He also mentions that Danielle will always be welcome in his home. Caroline is upset with Jacqueline for coming to Danielle’s rescue. Jacqueline defends herself, saying that “Family or not, what’s right is right, what’s true is true.”

And alas, the party is over….
