On this week’s episode on The Real Housewives of New Jersey the rumors begin to unfold on Danielle’s shady past.  Danielle has lunch with Teresa and Jacqueline to dispel rumors that she sleeps with married men. During the lunch Jacqueline and Danielle talk about the rumors, while Teresa remains rather quiet. Teresa feels that Danielle is dramatic and becomes very attached to her friends. She would rather stay out of it.

Dina is preparing for her daughter Lexi to leave for 2 weeks on a vacation to Cypress with her father.  With the popularity of Dancing With The Stars, Teresa’s husband Joe thinks it would be fun to take salsa lessons, so Jacqueline and Teresa decide to throw together an evening with Caroline’s family, Teresa and Joe, and Danielle to take dancing lessons.

At the dance studio everyone is taking it very lightly, except for Danielle.  Danielle, who has taken dance lessons in the past, is taking the lessons seriously. Danielle is paired up with all of the men at one point, and spectator Caroline thinks that Danielle is coming on too strongly to Albie, her oldest son. Albie laughs it off, saying that dancing with Danielle is like being on a roller coaster ride without a seatbelt. The real drama ensues when Danielle partners with Teresa’s husband Joe. Joe is making constantly snide and unfunny remarks about the dance instructors. (Wait a minute…wasn’t the dance instruction HIS idea?) Danielle tells Joe off, letting him know that what he is saying is inappropriate (it is!) and when Joe talks back to her, Danielle tells Joe that she is “not his wife.”  Teresa is offended by the way that Danielle treats Joe and isn’t sure whether it was an insult to Joe or to Teresa.

Later, Dina has a get together to send Lexi off, and the Manzo’s are there. Caroline brings up the way that Danielle came on to Albie during the dance instructions, and everyone agrees that they are ”afraid of Danielle” and that she made them feel uncomfortable by taking everything so seriously and being so aggressive.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline and Chris find out that they do not have any issues with fertility.   Danielle calls to apologize to Teresa for offending Joe, and claims that Teresa hangs up on her.  Teresa, Dina and Caroline get together to discuss a book they have found titled: Cop Without a Badge. The subject of the 24 year old book is a drug bust related to Danielle and her ex, who they claim have ties to kidnapping, prostitution and the Columbia Cartel.   Teresa admits that she is finished with Danielle’s friendship and isn’t comfortable with her drama or being around her family.

Jacqueline, against the advice of her sisters-in law or husband Chris,  confronts Danielle about the book. Danielle admits that 24 years ago this book exposed that she was in a relationship with someone and was federally arrested for extortion, kidnapping and possession as an accomplice.  At the time Danielle was in her early 20’s, modeling in Cozumel and the book includes a mug shot of her. It is a very old book, and is currently out of print. One can’t help but watch and believe that the Manzo sister’s are sabotaging Danielle, and that although aggressive and needy, Danielle is partially a victim in this situation.

Danielle feels she has come clean about the book, and believes that Dina is the one that is sabotaging her and spreading the rumors around town about her past. Danielle calls her old friend Tommy and asks him for advice. He advises Danielle to have it out with the women and to explain herself.

Finally, Teresa is moving into her new home with her husband and her girls. She has the movers bring all of their new furniture, and also finds out that her daughter Gia will be on Gossip Girl.  Jacqueline is still neutral, but barely hanging on. The Manzo sisters have won a new ally with Teresa though.
