This week, on The Biggest Loser: Couples, Ron and Filipe fell below the yellow line at the weigh-in.  Ron lost 9 pounds, giving him a 3.02% of weight loss while Filipe dropped 10 pounds, which gave him a 4.10% of weight loss.  After Ron pleads with his teammates to keep him in the game so that he can finish with his son, Filipe was voted out and sent home.  Since being home, he has experienced highs and lows and today, he spoke to RealityWanted in an exclusive interview about his time on and off The Biggest Loser campus.

Q. David, RealityWanted: Sione told us that it was his idea to try out for The Biggest Loser. What was your reaction when he approached you with the idea?
A. Filipe: When Sione approach me with the idea to try out for the show, I was like, "Sure, why not?" so that saturday morning we went to the casting call in east Mesa and the rest was history.

Q. David, RealityWanted: How did you cope with Sione going home, especially after all the intensity that surrounded his departure?
A. Filipe: It was difficult to see Sione go home especially because I had no say in wanting him to stay. It just happend to be the week that only one vote can send him home.

Q. David, RealityWanted: It was clear that you and Jillian didn't get along that well. What  exactly was it that caused you and Jillian to butt heads all the time?
A. Filipe: We didn't butt heads all the time. In fact, it just happened to be a bad week for both of us. There was a miscommunication between both of us. But we were able to smooth things out and get over our differences. All in all I still feel she is a great trainer.

Q. David, RealityWanted: What was the biggest challenge you faced on The Biggest Loser ranch?
A. Filipe: The biggest challenge I faced while i was on the ranch was having 30 days to bring Sione back.

Q. David, RealityWanted: What the best lesson you learned while you were on the show?
A. Filipe: One of the best lessons I've learned since being on the ranch is to believe in myself. I've gained more respect for who I am, and what I'm capable of achieving.

Q. David, RealityWanted: Going back to the deliberation, why didn't you point out how much  scheming and manipulating Ron had done up to that point in the game?
A. Filipe: It's not my place to point out others weaknesses. It's sad enough to know that America can see how they are.

Q. David, RealityWanted: Besides Sione, who were you close to in the house and why?
A. Filipe: Besides Sione, Damien and Kristin were good friends to me. They both were there for me when I needed them.

Q. David, RealityWanted: What is your biggest challenge now being at home and working towards your  goal for the finale?
A. Filipe: Being home has been great. But the biggest challenge I faced was making time to work out. I found my routine and am back on track for the finale.

Q. David, RealityWanted: If you had to go back and redo any part of the experience, what would it be and why?
A. Filipe: I wouldn't go back and change anything because I don't have any regrets of what I've done on the ranch.
