We recently had the opportunity to speak with the runner up Mindy Hall from Vh1’s Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels. Mindy a merchandiser and buyer from Cincinnati, Ohio talked with RealityWanted.com about her experiences on the show.

Q. RealityWanted.com: How did you end up on Rock of Love Bus?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: I didn’t seek it out actually, a casting director came up to me and talked to me about the show. I wasn’t that keen on it at first but figured I would give it a shot.

Q. RealityWanted.com: Did you know who Bret Michaels was? Did you have a crush on him?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: I listened to him in high school but I didn’t own a CD of his, but got one before I went on the show.

Q. RealityWanted.com: Are you attracted to rock stars?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: I have never dated a rock star and never thought I would. I also never expected to like him but I ended up falling in love with him.

Q. RealityWanted.com: What did you think about your competition?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: What competition. Just kidding. It was crazier than I had ever seen. I thought it was like a circus there and I figured there were going to be a lot of fights. I never hated a single person there, we were just very different.

Q. RealityWanted.com: So you ended up having feelings for Bret?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: The feelings started coming when we were in St. Louis, I guess that was episode 5 or so. I needed to know who he was and I got to know him more right around then. It took me a lot longer to open up to him compared to the other girls but I wanted to make sure.

Q. RealityWanted.com: So do you stay in touch with some of the girls from the show?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: I still talk to some of the girls, Jamie, Beverly, Sam and Marcy. My friendship with Taya strained, I am not sure who she really is.

Q. RealityWanted.com: So are you not staying in touch with Taya?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: No.

Q. RealityWanted.com: If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: I only have one regret and you will have to wait to hear what that is on the reunion show. Though it is hard to be on a reality show, I just tried to be me and didn’t do anything that wasn’t me.

Q. RealityWanted.com: What was your favorite time on the show?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: Probably the final date with Bret. Our date went so well, it was like hanging with buddy that you are hot for!

Q. RealityWanted.com: Were you surprised when you were eliminated?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: I was surprised that I was eliminated. I didn’t have a lot to say, I was emotionally void and heartbroken.

Q. RealityWanted.com: Would you do another dating reality show?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: Not unless it is about Mindy and Bret together!

Q. RealityWanted.com: So do you think that Bret was there to find love and do you think he found it with Taya?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: That is the big question, was he there for love. Maybe we should ask Bret why he didn’t pick me. I wonder if he picked Taya so he could brag to his friends that he is dating a Penthouse Pet. I am still confused because I never thought there was a spark between them.

Q. RealityWanted.com: Are you still in contact with Bret Michaels?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: He knows how to find me. If he asked me back, I know what the right thing is to do and that is to say “NO” but I would be lying if I didn’t give it a shot. I would go into his arms.

Q. RealityWanted.com: So does that mean you are not dating right now?

A. Mindy Hall, Rock of Love Bus: No I am not. It would not be fair for me to be dating someone while I still am working out all of the feelings I have for Bret. I am very happy and glad that I did the show. Sometimes you have to loose the battle to win a war!
