This week, on Make Me A Supermodel, Gabriel failed to deliver in his underwater photo challenge and landed in the bottom for the fourth time since the season began.  The judges weren't about to give him another chance and they eliminated him from the competition.  Amanda took Gabriel's elimination particularly hard since the two had grown close during the course of the show.  Today, Gabriel chatted with RealityWanted in an exclusive interview, dishing on the status of his relationship with Amanda and his other experiences on the show.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Tell us a little bit about your modeling experience prior to being on Make Me A Supermodel 2.
A. Gabriel: I’ve always made education a priority.  I’m attending college at Belmont University in Nashville.   I did some modeling work in Atlanta, I’ve been up to New York a few times, and I’ve been in Milan for a few months.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: When you first arrived to compete, did anybody stand out to you as your biggest competitor?
A. Gabriel: I thought Johnathon was a good looking guy but I wasn’t too concerned.  I was more focused on being myself.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Was there anything that was said by the judges that you didn’t agree with or that bothered you this season?
A. Gabriel: It’s a reality show so honestly, I didn’t take it too seriously.  There was stuff on the show that you would never do in the real world of modeling.  Of course, they disappointed me with some of the things that they said but there’s nothing you can do about it.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: It looked like the conditions for the photo shoot in the water were pretty brutal.  Can you describe what it was like?
A. Gabriel: It wasn’t that bad, it was just really cold.  The pool was heated so it wasn’t that big of a deal.  I was just trying to hold my breath and look decent.  There wasn’t a whole lot of consistency with the photographer, though.  He told me to act like I was losing confidence but then, he would tell one of the girls to look sexy and angelic.  I was graded on looking like I was going to die.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: In the runway challenge, the girls were fiery and sexy while the guys were cool and smooth.  Do you think that the challenge catered more to the women?
A. Gabriel: The girls are always going to be the focal point in a runway show.  They’re wearing the most expensive things.  The runway shows you would do in real life are much more simple.  You just walk.  The whole thing was a little silly.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: It looked like there was a little bit of a showmance going on between you and Amanda.  What’s the status of your relationship these days?
A. Gabriel: I talk to her a few times a week and I just saw her in L.A.  The show is unique and you’re put in a strange situation.  You’re trapped in a house with 15 people for weeks.  It was definitely fun but it was definitely a showmance.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What is in the future for you with modeling?
A. Gabriel: I'm almost done with school and I'm going to see what opportunities may or may not present themselves.  The economy is rough, though, and there aren't that many castings right now.
