This Fall, The Season's #1 New Syndicated Show Welcomes Contestants From the U.S. Military and Grants Holiday Wishes

LOS ANGELES - November 7, 2008 -NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution and Endemol USA's all-new half-hour version of "Deal or No Deal," which is this season's #1 new original show in syndication, is making dreams come true this November, giving away big bucks and sending one lucky winner to Super Bowl XLIII.

Beginning November 10, viewers can log on to www.DealorNoDealTV.com and enter to win a trip to the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida (including two tickets to the game, roundtrip airfare and deluxe accommodations) on February 1, 2009. During the two-week sweepstakes, viewers can watch "Deal or No Deal" each weekday to find out how much money the contestant has won each day, then simply submit the amount at DealorNoDealTV.com to be entered into the Super Bowl Sweepstakes. One lucky winner will win a trip of a lifetime to see the big game, which airs on NBC.

And during this month, "Deal or No Deal" is featuring several different special themes, including U.S. Military Week (November 17-21) with heroes from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces getting the chance to win life-changing amounts of money, as well as Holiday Wish Week (November 24-28), where contestants hope that Howie Mandel will make it an unforgettable holiday season.

The new daily edition of "Deal or No Deal", hosted by Howie Mandel, is currently the highest-rated new original show in syndication and it continues to deliver consistent ratings growth. "Deal" has the youngest median age of all syndicated game shows and the highest concentration of women 18-49, women 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 among all syndicated games, as well. And "Deal or No Deal" is the highest-rated game show launch in six years.

Viewers at home can also play to win $10,000 each week by logging on to www.DealorNoDealTV.com or by calling toll free 888-DEAL-10K. In addition to entering Deal's 10K Giveaway, fans can also log onto to the website to watch exclusive video content, check out photos of the models and download widgets for their own social networking profiles.

Each weekday, the game of odds and chance unfolds when a wheel is spun and a lucky contestant is chosen to play the game and confronted with 22 sealed briefcases full of varying amounts of cash -- ranging from a measly penny to the top prize of $500,000. Without knowing the amount in each briefcase, the contestant picks one – his or hers to keep, if they choose -- until its unsealing at game's end.

Based on the successful format from Endemol that has aired in more than 50 countries, "Deal or No Deal" is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding and distributed in national syndication by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.
