Interview with Nikeysha Clarke from America's Next Top Model Cycle 11

 

Today we had the opportunity to speak with Nikeysha Clark from America's Next Top Model. Nikeysha a 19 year old student from Bronx, NY spoke about her time on the show:

 

Q. Are you going to continue modeling?

 

A. Nikeysha Clarke, Top Model: I am going to go out there and get signed. I love doing the catwalks and I will do whatever it takes to make it.

 

Q. Have you had an opportunity to speak with Hannah?

 

A. Nikeysha Clarke, Top Model: We never really had any problems on the show. I asked her about the comments she made but we have spoken and we are good.

 

Q. You were criticized for talking too much, do you think that was the reason why you were let go?

 

A. Nikeysha Clarke, Top Model: I am very outspoken and I do talk a lot. I probably need to be censored, but all I was doing was trying to explain myself. I think Tyra might have felt I was arguing with her and not agreeing with what she was saying.

 

Q. Your eating habits were brought up while you were on the show, do you have an eating disorder?

 

A. Nikeysha Clarke, Top Model: I am naturally thin. I used to eat junk food, but I have tried to eat healthier and I play sports so in the process I dropped too much weight I guess.

 

Q. What was your reaction to Isis being on the show?

 

A. Nikeysha Clarke, Top Model: I believe she feels she's a woman, so she is. I think she has a great personality and I didn't have a problem with her being on the show. It comes with the industry.

 

Q. You were in school studying to be a doctor before, are you planning on continuing your education?

 

A. Nikeysha Clarke, Top Model: For now I am going to pursue modeling and I can always fall back on school.

 

Q. Are you planning on staying in contact with any of the girls from the show?

 

A. Nikeysha Clarke, Top Model: I will stay in contact with Isis, Brittany, Sheena and Sharaun.

 

Q. Do you think you were portrayed correctly on the show?

 

A. Nikeysha Clarke, Top Model: I am not as pushy as the show made me out to be. I just like to be outgoing, I really am a cool person.

 

Q. Who are you rooting for to win the competition?

 

A. Nikeysha Clarke, Top Model: I am rooting for all of them.
