Libra Big Brother 10
Big Brother 10 Episode 8 – Libra, Go Home!
Words by Nikki Maria

The Drama Continues ... Memphis told Keesha that she made a huge mistake nominating Jessie and Angie, because they weren't going after her. So did she make two enemies for nothing? On an uglier note, Jerry told Dan that Memphis is the biggest threat in the house, and that he's a "womanizer." OUCH! Where did that come from?

Jessie Target's Libra - Jessie confessed to Keesha that is was Libra who persuaded him to get Steven out of the house, as he wanted to put up Danny and Renny initially. Jessie is convinced that Libra is playing everyone and has orchestrated many conflicts that arose in the house. As Jessie was speaking to Keesha about all this, which was news to her, Libra comes knocking on the HOH door. At this point, Keesha is feeling uneasy and doesn't want to speak with Libra and told Jessie to send her away; he happily agreed.

The Veto Competition - Only six people will participate in this week's competition: the HOH, two nominees (Jessie and Angie), and three additional people selected by random draw, which were Libra, Ollie and Memphis. And the host was Dan.

The object of the game was to "plant" oneself into a plant box and have water drip on ones forehead. Now, the pressure of the water could get intense. But the person to take themselves out of the box closest to one hour without going over will win the POV. So who will survive the Garden of Veto?

Ready, set, go! The players are positioned and ready to play. After several minutes in the box, the game intensifies as live earth worms are sprinkled on each player. YUCK! Keesha could not tolerate the creepy crawly critters, so she eliminates herself. Mind you, the players are counting down the minutes in their heads, as they do not have access to a clock. Thereafter, Libra takes herself out of the plant box. Then, Jessie jumps out, followed by Angie, Ollie and lastly, Memphis. So which player stayed in the plant box closet to an hour without going over? Keesha! All the others went WAAAY over.

Libra, Go Home! Angie and Keesha finally chat. Angie told Keesha that if she chooses to use the POV, she'd prefer that she used it on Jessie, and put Libra up. Angie believes that if Libra goes on the chopping block next to her that she'd have a better shot at staying in the house.

The Libra bashing continues ... "I can not trust Libra," April says to Keesha. Ollie jumps into the conversation and agrees that Libra is ruining their alliance with all the enemies that she is making in the house. I guess Libra's sneaky ways are getting on everyone's last nerves.

So now, mostly everyone wants Keesha to back door Libra. In the diary room, Keesha reminisces about [Day 4] when she gave Libra her word about staying loyal to her. But lately, Libra's mouth has gotten way out of control, Keesha says, and she doesn't know what's best anymore. In the end, her loyalty to Libra may hurt her chances in the game.

Jessie's in a Frenzy! After the Veto competition Jessie rushes to the HOH room to convince Keesha that she should use the POV on him, and get Libra out! Jessie told Keesha that Libra is using her to do "her dirty work." And she would be crazy to keep Libra in the house. In addition, he accuses Libra of making side bets with everyone. But Keesha told Jessie STRAIGHT UP that she gave her word to Libra and she's not going back on it.  Gosh, persuading Keesha is a tough job! So tough that Jessie started to freak out, saying that he's lost six pounds in two days because the entire "Libra thing" is making him sick. You're kidding, right Jess?

Every two seconds Jessie is knocking on the HOH door to see if Keesha would change her mind. And when I say every two seconds, I mean every-two-seconds. He was pacing back and forth near the HOH room like he done lost his damn mind. Jessie's anxiety started to work a nerve with Keesha, so she went around the house to tell each houseguest that she's not breaking her promise to Libra, so stop going to her room to convince her otherwise.

The Explosive Confrontation - Memphis found out that Jerry called him a womanizer and got explosively upset. The verbal confrontation got really intense. Tempers flared, and voices reached an extremely loud level. Memphis threatened Jerry, telling him that if he calls him a womanizer again he'd see what would happen. Are you serious, Memphis? You're really ready to throw down with a 75-year-old man?

VETO Ceremony - It's time for the POV meeting. And to simply put it, Keesha decided not to use the POV. She said it was hard enough to put two people up; she couldn't put another person up at this time.

The live evictions are coming up, people! Stay tuned.

Kisses and Competitions,

Nikki
