The 2008 MTV Movie Awards Airs LIVE On Sunday, June 1st at 8PM/7c 


MTV News is set to deliver all of the action live and direct from the 2008 MTV Movie Awards and you have a front row seat!  Beginning at 7:30PM (et/pt) MTV News brings you the "2008 MTV Movie Awards: Coming Attractions" pre-show.  Hosts Tim Kash and Kim Stolz will be checking out and chatting with all of the night's biggest honorees, nominees, performers, and presenters live from the 24-carat gold hued carpet in honor of the Movie Awards' trademark golden popcorn award.  And Project Runway season 4 winner Christian Siriano will be on hand as this year's fashion correspondent for the MTV.com fashion show.


Presiding from MTV News' home base, Tim Kash will treat movie fans to exclusives from the hottest upcoming flicks - including the very first look at the hotly-anticipated "Twilight," and an exclusive clip from Will Smith's "Hancock".  We'll also have a scene from the upcoming MTV television movie, "American Mall".  This year, news newbie Kim Stolz will join the pre-show to talk all things fashion. Fans can log on now to the Movies blog on movieawards.mtv.com to view pictures of Kim modeling options on what to wear to the pre-show and to vote on their pick.  She'll also unveil the MTV audience's top 5 red carpet style hits and misses (as selected on mtvnews.com), and chat with fans about their favorite ensembles - and what they would've rocked instead.  Kim will also be roaming the carpet - greeting stars as they arrive, snagging people alongside paparazzi, and hanging out with the frenzied fans. And design darling Christian Siriano (Project Runway season 4 winner) will serve up his fierce commentary as he hosts the "Red Carpet Report with Christian Siriano.", providing in-depth interviews with the hottest celebs on the red carpet, including ones you won't see in the on-air pre-show.  Fans can submit questions for the correspondents to ask talent live on the golden carpet via the Movies Blog on movieawards.mtv.com.


Presenters for this year's show include Sarah Jessica Parker, Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, Liv Tyler, Edward Norton, Dwayne Johnson, Katharine McPhee, Emma Stone, Steve Carell, Jack Black, Lindsay Lohan, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg, Seth Rogen, Megan Fox, Jennifer Hudson, Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Rumer Willis, Brendan Fraser and Danny McBride.  And rocking the stage will be Coldplay and The Pussycat Dolls debuting new music and sizzling live performances.  Hosted by Mike Myers, the "2008 MTV Movie Awards" will be broadcast LIVE from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA on Sunday, June 1st at 8pm/7c.
