Fatima Siad Americas Next Top Model

Today we participated in a conference call for Americas Next Top Model where Fatima Siad, a 22 year old Student from Boston, MA was the 10th girl recently eliminated from the show. Here’s what she had to say:

Q. How did you end up on the show?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): A friend of mine told me about it. I never really watched the show completely but I decided to apply and ended up making it on the show.

Q. Do you think you were portrayed accurately while you were on the show?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): I did say all the things on TV but if you don’t know the whole story it is hard to understand. I think I was accurately portrayed while I was on the show. I feel I represent another type of woman, I brought something different to the group. I am real with myself and talk about big issues and I am passionate about certain things.

Q. Did you make any long lasting friends while you were on the show?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): I talk to most of the girls like Kat, Lauren and Claire.

Q. What about the girls you really didn’t get along with?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): I have a different mentality and culture. My background and where I am from sometimes makes me an outcast and misunderstood. I always voiced my opinions and some girls and I were on the same level but others were immature.

Q. What was your favorite experience while you were in Italy?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): I didn’t have a great time in the beginning because I was sick but I enjoyed the Italian commercial.

Q. Would you change anything different if you had to do it all over?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): No not at all. I had a blast. I speak my mind and I don’t regret anything.

Q. Do you think the judging was fair?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): It changed every time. When Claire and Kat got kicked off I thought the whole thing was a joke. It might be about politics, I just don’t know.

Q. Do you think Whitney deserved to win?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): She doesn’t look like a plus sized model. I think it is sending the wrong message to real plus sized models. It is not about looks. Whitney took great pictures and knows how to conduct herself. I really wanted Anya to win. The show is about who can model and conduct themselves well.

Q. Did you think you were going to win the competition? Were you worried going into elimination?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model):  I wasn’t that confident going into the elimination round. It seemed Whitney was going to win.

Q. What advice would you offer future applicants of the show?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): Pack really well. I didn’t bring any pajamas and it is not as glamorous as it looks on TV. It is really hard so make sure you really want to be a model.

Q. So what are you up to now? Are you going to continue modeling?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): I am finishing up my last week in college currently. Then I will be hitting NY and find some agencies cause I want to be a model.

Q. Is there anything you want to say to your fans?

A. Fatima, (Americas Next Top Model): I would like to say Thank you to everyone that supports me.
