Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Did you see the show in the past and why did you apply?

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4: Every single one.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Were you scared to apply to the show knowing what you know about it?

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4: I thought I could easily do this, but I had no idea what I got myself into.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What do you mean?

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4: I didn’t realize how long the work hours would be, and the curve balls thrown at us. We didn’t know certain recipes and had to prep the kitchen from the ground up in under eight hours.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Did the cameras, crew and lighting get in the way or break your concentration?

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4: You don’t think of cameras since you’re so focused on working and listening to the yelling and all the stress in the kitchen.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: You said you watched all prior seasons, are you a fan of anyone from prior shows?

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4:  I liked Mike since he is a tattooed freak like me and I was excited to see Heather win since she is female. I also really liked Roc from last season.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What was it like to work in Hells Kitchen?

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4: Working in that kitchen is the hardest thing I have done in my life and I have done a lot of stuff. It is very stressful and in a way it breaks down your soul. You walk in confident, you know how to cook and you leave shaken.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Sounds like the term Hells Kitchen is appropriate.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: How’s the hand now?

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4: It’s been months, it’s still sensitive to heat and there is some scaring but I can move it now which is a plus.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Why didn’t you stick it out and at least try and stay?

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4: I was told by a plastic surgeon that I saw after I got burned that I could not work for three days and I had to keep my hand dry for a week. I tried to work before I left, but I had huge blisters and each time I picked something up I risked popping them and getting an infection. This can go into bones and joints and I already have arthritis so it made more sense for me not to risk it and go home.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Is Jen dominating the kitchen and is everyone happy with her and her leadership:

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4: I think she did run it and I was ok with that. I looked at her portfolio and thought this chick is talented and she demonstrated great talent and skill.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Now that you are watching the show and can see the guys in the kitchen, what do you think their issues are?

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4: There is too much ego in that kitchen. They need one leader and listeners but right now all they have is chaos.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Who do you hope will win?

A. Vanessa, Hells Kitchen 4: I am rooting for Jen, I think she would be the best option.
