I had a tooth pulled today and I was awake the whole time. The oral surgeon was talking about what to have for dinner and then left me by saying only shakes for 24 hours. So I paid my bill and post dated the check for 24 days and said don't cash it until August 18th. There was a struggle in the lobby, but I got out of there without the 50 showing up.
When we are in the supermarket and someone rams our ankle with a shopping cart then apologizes for doing so, why do we
say, 'It's all right?' Well, it isn't all right, so why don't we say, 'That really hurt, why don't you watch where you're going?'
