Being physically abused as a child. For the longest time I let my abuser control who I was, thinking il wasn't good enough and I didn't deserve anything but to be talked to walked on like I was dirt. Today I know who I am, and it was nothing my abuser ever called me, I'm not afraid to stand up for myself, I do not fight, won't be around fights, but I will get between a man hitting a woman. I want to give women that feeling of hope. I did give up on my dreams, now it makes me strive more.
