A major event in my life that affected me was the loss of my job of 8 years. I used to work for General Motors in the manufacturing industry where I was laid off due to the decline in sales and the economy.During employment I had a nice salary and wonderful benefits.After being laid off I had to result to working for a company with less pay and mediocre benefits.
