We seek thoughtful, outgoing
families-- with teens aged 16-18-- to discuss issues of teen driving while
texting for our talk show we'll be shooting in NYC at the end of April.
We'll want you to engage in an articulate, lively on-camera
discussion among each other and our host about an incident or incidents
that may have happened to you or your family or friends involving dangerous
texting or cell use in an automobile, and how you deal with becoming a
responsible driver.
Ideally we would like to discuss this issue with a family consisting of two parental figures and two teens who drive. Teens
must drive frequently and have a connection/story to tell [accidents/tickets] to the issue of texting while
driving and be able to engage with their family members in a dynamic discussion
about this. All
family members must be available to shoot on one date, for 2-3 hours.
This will be a casual, one-session discussion. It's a great opportunity to get the word out on this
important issue and to make a difference!
