Documentarians Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato (The Eyes of Tammy Faye, The RuPaul Show, Inside Deep Throat, TransGeneration) are producing a film for HBO Films based on the successful book by Robert Trachtenberg, When I Knew, and they want to hear your story. They are keen to include as many voices from the gay and lesbian community as possible.
We are looking for gays and lesbians who want to tell their story about when they knew they were gay. We are looking for all walks of life; all ages, all ethnicities and all job types. The more unique you feel you are, the more we want your story! This is a chance to let the world know our stories. To really show a cross culture of how we deal with this and those defining moments of when we knew.
We will be traveling around the country looking for real people.
Austin, TX: November 2-3rd
Madison, WI: November 5-6th
Philadelphia, PA: November 8-9th
Los Angeles: November 10-15th
