Does someone (or all) in your family struggle with getting regular check ups at the doctor? Is there a cause for health concern with one of your loved ones? Does your family not have healthcare and thus avoids going to the doctor until the last minute?
We are seeking families in the New Jersey/New York area to be featured on a show with Dr. Sampson Davis. Dr. Davis works in Newark's E.R. as a doctor and is also the author of "Living and Dying in Brick City -- an ER Doctor Returns Home." He has appeared on numerous talk and radio shows including Oprah, Dr. Oz, The Today Show, The View, PBS News Hour, Tavis Smiley and NPR as well as print publications including but not limited to Readers Digest, O Magazine, People, Washington Post, NY Times, USA Today, Vibe and Black Enterprise.
The show will involve an interview with you and your family about your health problem -- what is stopping you from going to the doctor before arriving in the ER?
