Seeking Host for Travel/Food Series

A fun new series is seeking a host, capable of leading a travel/food show. The ideal candidate will have some culinary experience but will NOT be a chef: someone who can speak about food, ingredients, and the ins & outs of a kitchen without sounding too clinical or professional -- in other words, able to speak to the average viewer about something we all do: eat.

Without giving away too much, the host will be joined by a different celebrity in each episode, and will explore a world that everyone, from locals to tourists, enjoys from time to time.

Please only apply if you fit the qualifications listed below. We'll be setting up short Skype interviews this week and next, and hope to have casting completed by the end of August.

-- Culinary background (such as culinary school, even if a drop-out) but NOT a pro chef.
-- Able to converse with everyday people, as well as big-name celebrities.
-- Average Joe look and way about them -- someone you might live next door to.
-- Examples of similar things online (i.e., videos of cooking or eat or reviewing restaurants).

I'm happy to share a little more information about the project, and the folks involved, if you fit the criteria. It'll be a fun project and one that we're eager to find the perfect host for.
