Calling All Barbie Fans

CALLING ALL BARBIE FANS!

The folks at Barbie are creating a web series to share kids’ (and their parents) stories about one of the most beloved dolls of all time!

We are looking for highly imaginative kids between the ages of 6-8 who play with Barbie. We are also interested in hearing their mom (or dad’s!) story with Barbie. Did you play with Barbie as a child and are happy to pass the tradition along to your kids? What does Barbie mean to you? When your child plays with their Barbie, what is she to them? An Astronaut? Teacher? Mother? Rock Star? All of the above?

If you or someone you know likes Barbie- send us a message right away. Participants will be paid and get to share their love for the doll that’s now a tradition.

We are specifically interested in finding special stories like:

- A single father who’s given his child a Barbie
- A child with special needs who loves Barbie
- A mom who grew up playing with Barbie and has now passed that tradition on to her children
- A child who’s done something special for or with their Barbie (such as: donated her old Barbies to a child/family in need, done something to earn money to buy their Barbie, etc)
- A family who’s done something special/unique like: built their own Barbie Dream House, started a collection, put on plays with Barbies, etc)

Participants must be 6-8 years old and live in the greater Los Angeles area. Participants will be paid for their time.

We are filming right away- so email us or nominate someone right away if they fit the description! This will be a fun, heartfelt project to be a part of.
