Christmas Traditions Casting Call

CASTING CALL for a short form series for a major cable network. We are looking for people with INTERESTING/ FUN/ WACKY Holiday Traditions in the following categories. If you, or a friend has a tradition you'd like to share, on air and on the web, please email me with a description of your tradition, and your contact info.

NOTE: You must be in the SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA area and willing to go on camera and share your family tradition.

Subjects we are covering:

1) Advent Calendars. (Are there gifts behind each of the doors and what are they? Do you have one from generations back? Or did you make your own?)

2) Christmas Food. (Eggnog with a secret ingredient, a gingerbread house making tradition that you do with your kids that your mother taught you, Holiday Food and Spirits traditions of all sorts)

3) Christmas Ornaments/Decorations/Decorating Traditions. Do you decorate your house with fir tree branches and bows, but with Chocolate Santas hidden with Candy Canes, too? Ornaments that you make every year like popcorn and cranberries, or have been handed down? Do you listen to the same songs while decorating every year? Who gets to put the angel on the top of the tree? Or do you have an unusual �Angel� with a great story?

4) Gift Giving. Do your kids have to hunt for one of their presents? Or is candy hidden in one place and whoever finds it gets to open their gift first? Or do you play a game on Christmas Eve and whoever wins gets to open one present that night? Or a Hanukkah tradition?

OR do you and your family each pick a charity and donate to it?
