Now Casting TRADING UP

TRADING UP is a new show for TLC where we will document charismatic families in the tri-state area as they trade and barter their way from something smaller that they already have, to something much bigger that they want/need in their lives but cannot get on their own (for whatever reasons).

We are casting families or groups (coworkers, friends) in need of an item (like a car) or experience (like a trip/vacation) that would make their lives better but they don't have the means or money to get by themselves. We want to work with what you have to offer, like a small or sentimental/personal possession and, with our help, keep TRADING UP for something a little bigger and better until you get to your desired object or experience.

We're ideally looking for people who can hustle their way from a dime to a diamond, or are at least up for trying.
